*normal* OSX Finder or anything? (on Apple TV)

I have renamed Apple TV OS-finder.app to AppleTV.app and I can close and open this as much as I want. But is it possible to install anything like the normal OSX versjon of Finder? I really want someting other than Terminal to browse my files.

If it is not possible to install Finder, then why?

...and how can we or someone make it possible?

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about but if you're running appleTV on a mac, it doesn't even have to be this complicated (you don't have to replace the finder). Just check out my guide here:

quite easy.

I am using iTerm (a Terminal-like app with tabs) on my Apple TV with a keyboard attached.

I haven't tried Transmission yet, but I can run VLC, Firefox, DragThing (a dock replacement, because I can't get the real Mac OSX-dock to work), 3D-Space VFS (a Finder replacement), Joost, TextEdit and System Preferences.

"I think finder needs SSE3 to run."

If the Apple TV doesn't have SSE3 and if Finder needs SSE3, why can I run the Finder app wth Mac OSX installed on my Apple TV?

well if you installed mac os x on your apple tv then you would be using the JAS because regualar os x doesnt run in SSE2 so to get a finder.app running you would have to use a "hacked" version of finder.app found in your JAS install
