track09
Apple's website for final cut studio said GMA 950 graphics are not supported by FCS. I ran a quick search on google and the forums, and couldn't turn up anything. Does anyone know a quick fix for this so I can get it working? My dual core Core2Duo hackintosh is very powerful, I have coreaudio and all enabled as well. I just hope I can get this working to experiment with it. Thanks. rhalls
it works great here, asrock conroe945dvi with gma 950 dual screen and latest fin al cut studio. previews will be much faster with a better video card, but with the gma 950 you can work well. Colonel
Final Cut works fine on GMA 950. I ran it on my MacBook for a while. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41959-final-cut-studio-on-gma-950/#findComment-300183 Share on other sites
track09
Final cut express works. FC Pro doesn't. It says so on Apple's Site, and addtionally, when I try to load Final Cut Pro HD, it doesn't work. Ah well. track09
Ah, fixed it. What I did was show package contents>Contents>info.plist <key>AELRequiredIOPCIDevice</key> <string>AGP</string> Just had to remove the AGP between the strings. Sucess. Works beautifully. Thanks for your posts anyway. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41959-final-cut-studio-on-gma-950/#findComment-301235 Share on other sites
