I'm looking for a replacement to the 3945 wireless card as well with my XPS M1210. Dell sells the internal pci-e 1390 for $29. That's a pretty good replacement if it works as airport extreme. Did it work directly or required a modification on your part? Thanks! Having to use an external Belkin USB dongle for now and it isn't ideal!
