heres my logs, no panic as you said lol, anyway this will be my last post tonight, gotta get some shut eye for work tomorrow, I will continue more tests tomorrow. goodnight everyone.

Get one error while building on leo /cp /Debug/iwi2200.kext: No such file and 35 warnings.

Copying kext to /system/library/extensions/. and loading manually and they will start net selector and nothing.

Also after copying to the folder reboot and it says its not installed propery :(

change the buid script in xcode to build/Debug/iwi2200.kext (it shows up by expanding the iwi2200.kext icon in xcode).

this is not important - the script is for install/create the .dmg

change iwi2200.h debug level -> this will help to get more debug output if the driver loads

use diskutility to fix permissions

try kextload -t

do you know what kernel version exists in 10.5 - hacked version or someone build from kernel source code?

just remeber something important:

change the info.plist version of the frameworks - they are made for 10.4.x kernel

Im sorry how exactly ? Changing the Debug ? and permissions I did and it didnt help.

Ok I see the shell script and I get it. Kernel is patched using the SSE2 patch, the verision is 9.0.0 where do you want me to change plists? after build ?Little lost on what to do. I changed in iwi2200.kext the info.plist to 9.0.0 on the button and 9.0 on top thats probably wrong. Please help a bit late have to go, but please help :)Ok I think its permissions sudo and su is not working. I will cont in the AM. Thanks so far.

I would like to thank you for your hard work on this. I just installed OSx86 on my Dell M1710. I would love to help with testing, but alas, my knowledge with mac is limited to the past 30 minutes I've been using it. I would love to help out in the near future when I learn a lot more about it. But in the meantime, thank you to everyone out there helping out.

I got a Sony VAIO VGN-FE890, with the dreaded intel 3945 wireless card (currently using ethernet to connect). I Installed mac.nub's 10.4.10 release with winxp on dualboot. If there's anything I can help with testing, please let me know. Please consider that I am a total noob in Mac, so, you'd have to tell me where to find things and stuff. I've been seeing others post logs. If I knew where those logs are, I could post 'em as well. All I know is, I downloaded the last 3945 driver posted by jalavoui previous to the one in post 3281. Installed without problems. It got detected as a "PCI Ethernet Slot pci8086, 4222". Using the networkselector tool, it does nothing, however, sometimes, it sort of paused for 3 or 4 seconds before giving me the options again, but still, I sorta checked the Airport utility, still nothing. Spamming option 1 like 8 or 9 times gave me an error (the thing that grays the screen out and asks you in like 4 or 5 languages to restart/turn off, with no way to do anything else... is that a kernel panic?).

Hope that helped. If those logs help more, then tell me where the heck the system generates them and how to get to them, then I'll join the crash test team :P

:P

Ok wheel I think the kext is loaded.... I didnt get an error. Apperently sudo and su is not working in normal mode had to -s and cahnge permissions, but after it loaded in normal mode there is no card loaded and nothing in Network in settings, as well as ifconfig doesnt show the card, the nsGUI doesnt work at all and the networkselector just quits with this error"Could not get ID for kernel control.2" . I wonder If I have to reinstall Leo  I keep getting "CFGetHostUUIDString: unable to determine UUID for host. Error: 35" when I try to use sudo I have to research more.

iwi3945
