Gundam
I just wanted to note that are we suppose to be seeing our adapters by now in System Preferences? Because each of these iwi3945.dmg's doesn't really show me anything new, the internal wifi card isn't detected as a airport card. Just thought I'd share my piece on that. Thanks for the effort so far. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36976-intel-wireless-driver/page/116/#findComment-453721 Share on other sites

Thanks for the effort so far. Same here, I don't see anything. networkSelector doesn't work either, it's only showing en2 (00:00:xx...) mode: 3 led: on. But the led is off, and when I try to change mode or list the networks, nothing happens. Too bad, I was really hoping to ditch Vista for Mac OS X. It's great that you're putting all this effort in anyway and trying to get the card working! Has anybody had better results than me? nico342
After to have install and use for almost 6 months iwi2200bg drivers I can say that you a done a really great job. I can see a real improvement from previous versions. I'm still using iwi2200 v478...(I hope that I'm not doing a mistake), with NSGUI v0.2 and I never saw a kernel panic. I hope that the rpoject will continue to progress. jalavoui
i've changed code related with the card mac address. you can check if it reports the card address by typing ifconfig in the console, and check if the card is there (should be listed as en1) i've also disabled some rfkill hacks - be carefull when you press the wireless switch - looks like itm turns the card off and never goes on again it's so easy to write a driver when you got a card - i changed this code for iwi2200 and it works quite fine. i finally get rid of the old resetDevice() function. iv'e also changed other stuff - let me know it it works iwi2100.dmg iwi3945.dmg iwi4965.dmg iwi2200.dmg Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36976-intel-wireless-driver/page/116/#findComment-456999 Share on other sites
