panic fix

please don't test old releases - this is the latest version

can someone test this:

- when you get: Card state received: HW:Off SW:On

-press the switch or fn+F2 and wait a few seconds to see if the card state changes.

this should be easyer to test before calling networkselector

panic fix - part 2

i'm getting my computer occasionally hang up with last 2 or 3 "successful" rev-s (those ones which didn't produce kernel panic on boot). in cause of that i can't get appropriate dmesg log.

here my logs for the last rev.

dmesg.txt

ioreg.txt

system.txt

iwi3945

send_cmd and rfkill code changed

if you get a panic post the picture

you may need to use the switcher to turn the card on

don't use the switcher/networkselecor to soon - wait for mac os to boot and wait for the driver to load (checl system.log)

Logs from iwi3945, attached above, after I turn off the card on Network Selector, I tried to turn on and I got Kernel Panic. If you wish i can run NS on shell in single mode to take a picture of the panic screen...

iwi2100

changed the kext and networkselector

to test this:

- boot with -s

- wait for driver to finish loading

- call networkselector. use option 1 only

i don't know if the wireless switch can be used

waiting for the logzzzzzzzzzzzz

iwi2200

we can use help on enabling the supplicant - anyone?

i'm making some changes on the .kext - will post it soon

iwi2100.dmg

changes for all drivers in start()

howto test:

- wait for the driver to finish loading.

- check system preferences -> network to see it it is detected there.

- test it with the wireless switcher/fn+F2/networkselector

if you get a panic:

- boot with -s

- type sh/etc/rc

- call networkselector after the driver load

- post the picture of the kernel panic
