MarcusAurelius Posted December 24, 2006 Share Posted December 24, 2006 That's David Pogue. He's really more of a music/theater guy than a computer guy. He's a die hard Mac fan too. His books on Mac applications and OS X are pretty good, but it's a shame anyone lets this guy write books about Windows. He's a good writer--The Times cares more about that than they do about technical knowledge. It really shows--All articles I've read in the circuits section give me the impression that these guys have no idea as to what they're talking about. I remember an article about the first PC's with 1GHz Processors. They mentioned one of them had a video card with 32MB of DDR memory and that 32MB of DDR is equivalent to 64MB of regular memory. Though in all fairness to Pogue, he wasn't the author of that article.
