That's David Pogue. He's really more of a music/theater guy than a computer guy. He's a die hard Mac fan too. His books on Mac applications and OS X are pretty good, but it's a shame anyone lets this guy write books about Windows. He's a good writer--The Times cares more about that than they do about technical knowledge. It really shows--All articles I've read in the circuits section give me the impression that these guys have no idea as to what they're talking about. I remember an article about the first PC's with 1GHz Processors. They mentioned one of them had a video card with 32MB of DDR memory and that 32MB of DDR is equivalent to 64MB of regular memory. :) Though in all fairness to Pogue, he wasn't the author of that article.

How many times has this same video been mentioned now? Three times?.... Four times? Blah.

 

I can't believe Apple.com also added this NY Times video to their "hot news" area. I admit, Apple is smugger than a snooty man eating a $500 plate of caviar.
