Anto65
You're a monster. 😅 Finally, you only need to enter the password once. Optionally, if you add "Open" to the mounted drive, it's a masterpiece... but it's already excellent as is. ( Above all, no "Background Demons" 😜 ) Spoiler Edited August 9, 2025 by Anto65 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-esp-mounter/#findComment-2838720 Share on other sites

Anto65
Here it sees the USB drive correctly ( it asked me for permission to explore an invisible drive before , when it detected the usb ). Unlike the internal drive, when I click "mount," it places it on the desktop. 👍 Spoiler Edited August 9, 2025 by Anto65 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-esp-mounter/#findComment-2838740 Share on other sites

Anto65
I confirm that the USB drives are detected as external... correctly. I booted with Clover now (from the USB, I'll try booting from the disk if it detects it)... are we asking too much now, right? 😂 Spoiler 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-esp-mounter/#findComment-2838749 Share on other sites

If they want something they should have it (for a price of course ) I will look into it, haven't used clover in ages, I currently have no rigs to boot from clover to test and detect the bootloader information. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-esp-mounter/#findComment-2838750 Share on other sites
Anto65
Just tried booting from the disk with Clover... same thing, not detected... it's just an optional extra, I don't think it matters ... I feel sorry for Slice a little 🙃 The important thing is that it mounts the EFI and doesn't crash by constantly asking for the password 😆 Thanks again 🙏 I feel like I'm going back in time, but with a fully functional app. Edited August 9, 2025 by Anto65 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-esp-mounter/#findComment-2838751 Share on other sites
