@Cyberdevs, thanks, it works perfectly now!

@Anto65, You might have a problem with your security settings. My app updated normally.

I'm glad it's fixed.
I guess it's a CloudFlare issue. It happens when I push several updates in a short period of time.

New version 1.9 available.

What's New in This Version:

  • The detected disks are now saved so the app won't have to scan for the disks on each launch
  • Fixed the disk scan issue when switching between Window or Menubar Mode
  • Fixed app's settings issue on macOS Big Sur
  • Performance Improvements

@Cyberdevs, in my opinion, "remembering" mounted partitions isn't a good idea. What's the benefit? Saving a second? I experienced numerous glitches with this feature and was forced to roll back to version 1.7...

It shouldn't remember the mounted partitions, it detects and saves the disks, can you explain a bit more on the glitches and the issues you have?

The app scans the disks saves them to avoid refreshing the disks list when switching between menubar mode and the window mode for better user experience.

I mount an EFI partition on a flash drive. I make the necessary changes. Then I reboot without the flash drive. But the application "remembers" it as mounted, and when I try to unmount the non-existent flash drive,

That was the issue in v1.9 which I fixed in v.2.0, the v2.0 completely rescans for disks on first launch after reboot, to make sure the ghost partitions are not shown

Another situation occurs when I try to mount the EFI partition on a flash drive: some encrypted macOS service partition is mounted...

 @Anto65 experienced the same issue but I couldn't reproduce that problem. I'll check and see if I can reproduce the same problem and fix it.

Thanks for the feedback though.

unfortunately, I haven't saved any authentic evidence

No need for any evidence, I take your word for it ;)

@Cyberdevs, there's a saying in my country: "The best is the enemy of the good." The functionality and quality of version 1.7 are excellent.

Well that's a very wise saying!

But I felt the scanning the disks with each mode switch was something that could be fixed.

@Anto65

Thanks for the feedback and confirmation on the issue being resolved.

@verdazil

Can you please check the v2.0 build 23 and see if the issue is still there or it's fixed?

To all

If any one encounter any issues please let me know.

I haven't found any problems with this one. ( v2.0 build 23 )

@Cyberdevs

If I want to go back to the main menu (from the About window), I can't do it.... I have to kill the app

So if you go back straight away from the About menu, fine,
but try selecting the About menu (without going back)
click on the desktop, wherever you want, then click the app icon again.

... need to close first windows " About "
