Neither Amfi, nor ALC, nor SIP. Some of my latest changes, don't remember which one, introduced the problem with OCLP-MOD. EFI Version from 07.09.2025 works flawless with everything now and is available for all X299-ers as public EFI-Folder distribution v. 1.0.7 on InsanelyMac, if you want to have a look to). 👍

I have a question about your Universal EFI.
1. Would it also work with the MSI Z370 A Pro motherboard
with an Intel i5-8600K CPU and internal Intel UHD 630 graphics?

Sorry, I just came back from school.🙃

 

OCLP-Mod will automatically download the nearest KDK without manual installation, just use the automatically matched KDK.

 

Up to now, RC and the official system share the same KDK.

No.. with universal I mean for all macOS versions. It is designed for X299, as I do not have any other system for now. For Z370 and UHD 640,  you have to adopt it. 

I was just posting the Link above for @Anto65, in case he wants to have a look to the EFI. This thread is about OCLP-MOD and not about my EFI. So let's try not to get out of topic... Anyway I hope to have answered your question by now.. 😉

I don't think I will switch from Chinese to English anymore because supporting multiple languages is a huge project ...

 

However, the overall usage of OCLP-Mod is similar to OCLP. You can refer to OCLP or use Google Translate.

So I'm not actually using OCLP-MOD.
I needed it to restore the Launchpad (essential for me) and at the same time patch AppleHDA.

 

But since miliuco  🙏  introduced me to AppGrid-Launcher (which works great... we'll see what happens after 7 days 😄 ), I no longer use OCLP-MOD and I'm using VoodooHDA with the new Launcher, also because where the PC is located, I can't use the digital outputs; the built-in analog is enough.

 

I installed OCLP-MOD in a separate partition just to test because it didn't work for many people.

 

I always install the KDK separately first,
also because I already have it and OCLP doesn't have to download it again.

and to reduce data connection consumption 😛

Yes it is true OCLP-MOD tries to download the KDK that best matches your system, if it doesn't find it

I can't highlight the text, I repeat. As example, how to translate all text in this windows : ?

You can extract the text from the image and then translate it. Google "img to text."
From what I see, Amfi is enabled and can't apply the patch. Sip isn't set to 03080000, perhaps, or AmfiPass.kext isn't present.

Thanks Anto65. The wifi patch was applyed via OLCP standard.  Strange it is proposed again with OLCP-Mod. Yes AmfiPass.kext was only loaded for Ventura+, I have a problem here for ventura :

Sip is 03080000.

I have just try 5 online converters no one converts Chinees.

Thanks for the responses. I haven't install it because it diden't come with an uninstaller. Have you try to lauch it via OCLP-Mod-GUI.command from source code ?

After searching Translate Air is working on MacOS for your information.

This could interest you, 

     

 

1) you launch OCLP_Mod with your own language (if exists in ocl_mod/languages folder, otherwise with default which is English US)

2) no more static list of languages, the list is made up of json language file from ocl_mod/languages, and language name (with flag) come from Locale_LC_Languages.json file

    so if you add or remove a json language file no need to modify code, just add or remove file(s).

3) I've added "AppleDB" installers extraction in (ocl_mod/sucatalog)

    (products_appledb.py: Parse products
    for Data  : from https://api.appledb.dev/ios/macOS/main.json (littlebyteorg/appledb) https://appledb.dev/
    with Code : from dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher
)

4) some cosmetic modifications and language files added. (for ex.

5) to do : optional sort of installers list (Currently newer installers (Tahoe) are at the end of the list and you have to scroll down to access them)

and optional filter on macOS (as does Do... Fu.. In..., (OoT or not ?))

     OK : no more is displayed an info message box even if langue was changed, if same selected langue is the current one there's no update of windows content

PS: a language file could be a symlink and it works fine (ex. if you think that "es_ES" Spanish (Spain) and "es_AR" Spanish (Argentina) languages are identical,

       you make a symlink "es_AR" from "es_ES" and so only one file will be modified if needed)

Since there are clever people here modding OCLP, it would be enormously valuable to community to pool that talent and work together with the original Devs of OCLP instead of having two tools to achieve the same goal.

When I boot my Hack, I am getting a prompt to install the available patches but hwne I try to do so, I am getting this:

 

I have Ethernet / WiFi (can only detect iPhone's hotspot, not wifi networks) and BT are working. Also:

The config is for the Z790, I removed the -lilubetaall flag, and I also unchecked the EnableJumpstart option. I also removed npci=0x3000 and I set AppleXcpmForceBoost to false. Any other suggestions are more than welcome! I'm not trying to figure out how to make broadcom wifi to work. What I also noticed are the cutouts in my audio, these lines are from my console log:

 

AppleUSBIORequest::complete: device 7 (Scarlett Solo USB@14700000) endpoint 0x81: status 0xe00002be (missed service error)

Then CoreAudio tears down and reinitializes the device:

A few hundred ms later: AppleUSBAudioEngine:Focusrite:Scarlett Solo USB ... starting

 

That explains the 1–2 second audio dropouts I hear, the USB driver sees “missed service errors” (timeouts where the device didn’t respond in time), tears down the stream, then brings it back up. In short, the cutouts are due to USB transfer errors.

HELP!!! I installed the USB root patches to Tahoe and now it won't boot. Is there any way to revert the USB patches manually or in some other way using macOS on a different partition?  Reinstalling Tahoe is a last resort and it doesn't address the fact that, without the USB root patches, I cannot use a USB wireless adapter in Tahoe.  Here's a screenshot of where booting stops. It doesn't freeze there, it just returns to the OC picker and starts all over again.
