Why to have them in stock when you could use one of them in the meanwhile? Just for fun like I do! 😉. X299 has its native macOS implementation and does not need xcpm kernel patching like x99 does or did the latter fact change for x99 in the recent past and I just missed it?

If you don't have your own EFI you could try to start with my EFI:

If you don't use your X99 rig anymore and have some more recent hardware only (as I see from your signature), I fully understand your statement and decision. X299 also reached its days quite some time ago, but for me and what I am doing right now, it is still more than sufficient.  And for anybody else with low budget it might be still sufficient, too..  The EFI is anyway quite intuitive and generally applicable also for state of the art systems, at least for somebody with some basic knowledge. And last but not least my X299 system still allows me to catch up with all of you here, which is really a big pleasure and I missed many years. 🤗

Thanks for the offer! But they're just sitting on a shelf in the garage right now, I've got enough computer in my signature.

PS I just wanted to thank you for your work.

So does that mean I can delete that boot-arg?

I still believe we have to revert the patch just like before to get the incremental update opposed to the full update.

These are two different things:

  • boot arg is required on SMBIOS with a T2 chip (e.g., MacPro 7.1, iMac 20.x) to be notified of updates; everything else can work without the boot arg.
  • root patched systems can be notified of updates (T2 SMBIOS with boot arg, not T2 SMBIOS without boot arg), but updates will be full package, not incremental; by reverting the root patch, you can get incremental updates.

Bro, for starters it is imperative to disable the WEG kext with a 7,1 SmBIOS installing Tahoe.

Ok I made a few changes for you within the EFI, I am not too sure about the LucyRTL8125Ethernet.kext but I left it enabled.

Remember I said our moto is ....'No Man Is Left Behind' I am confident this EFI will be it.

Please don't let me down, clean the NvRAM before booting off this EFI, sit back and watch the magic. :thumbsup_anim:

EFI.zip 8.69 MB · 1 download

Thank You @eSaF, later today I'll try it.

The LucyRTL kext is a tipo of ProperTree, no mater how much times I delete it, it continues to appear.

I'll have to learn how to use OCAT properly.

@naiclub My friend, maybe you need try use only yours SSDTS and minimum kexts ;) without Hot Plug until install it. Need use UsbMap or UsbPorts mapped with new Injection for Tahoe, my Processor intel is different patcher that yours, and maybe you need use your own UIAC.aml, RHUB, XHCI, SSDT from audio etc... because is modified to use in another hardwares configurations (like mine)

Regards

I managed to build from source with this OCLP version 2.4.1, after installed Tahoe Beta 2 over my Real Mac (MacBookPro8,3) MacBook Pro Late 2011 i7 Quad core with 17 inches Display.

The OCLP installed both cards, iGPU (Intel HD 3000 Graphics) and my dGPU (AMD Terascale 2), the OCLP did the trick of patching my Tahoe Beta 2.

But for my frustration, It did without hardware acceleration (Intel HD 3000 Graphics). System shows up 512MB of VRAM.

Let´s see if in another version it supports hardware acceleration from my Real Mac.

Regards,

Fernando.

you have AirPortUtility.kext & BluetoothFileExchange.kext

what does it fix?

@LockDown  The coder @Hnanoto developed these kexts entirely based on native Apple code to make Bluetooth and Wireless connections easier. They provide stability and are better used as a complement rather than going without them. I use an Apple keyboard and mouse, and for us, these kexts ensure reliable daily usage. For example, they improve the activation of the HID Proxy connection and the internal link. They’re available in the repository at GitHub check my signature for Hackintosh and Beyond link, and are 100% based on valid Apple code.

;)

Everyone who tries them notices a difference in daily use and really likes them. They testify to that.

Well, that doesn't look like some issue with your boot drive but with the drive connected to port 6. I guess SATA 6 port. You should try to unplug it first.

Commands sent to the device on Port 6 were aborted due to some error. Maybe some slow HDD connected to that SATA port?

in short, that error shows issue is with SATA port 6.

The information I have or have found about the Hackintosh developer and the EFI Agent developer is that they have permanently abandoned program updates because they haven't gotten the results they expected. The best I've been able to do is translate it into my native Spanish.

Hello friend, I tried to do as you suggested to turn off Hot Plug and reduce the number of SSDT to 2-3 pieces. The result is still the same.

Hello friend, I tried to do as you suggested by unplugging the DVD-ROM first, but the result is stuck at the same point.

P.S. (UIAC.aml, RHUB, XHCI, SSDT) I don't know how to do these things and I don't have the knowledge. Most of the time, someone else does it for me.
