And suddenly my iPhone connects with my hack, the only thing that I need to see is if I can log in my apple account...

If that succeeds I'm safe, for my OCD ... LOL

PS: Signed in my iCloud account, 0 OCD Until the next... LOL

My wifi is active as you can see in the picture, although it don't work without OCLPand I don't have an exclamation point in my wifi bar icon...

What was that old program that served to edit the order of wifi and ethernet??? Anyone Knows?

Maybe you should try test this configuration extracting from Hackintool Devices plist.

After several days working on Sequoia Beta 2 (with wifi thanks to OCLP) suddenly safari doesn't log on in some websites (not all) , like twitter for example. Something to do with secuity settings I assume , but nothing I tried fixed it. Chrome opens these websites normally.

Has anyone else experience this?

@MorenoAv Hi Bro this is slightly off topic but in your wireless pic, your WiFi/Wireless is registered as en0 and Ethernet is en1.

Mine is the other way around (see pic attached) which is supposedly correct, I don't think it matters a great deal.

I had to do some research when I noticed the difference between yours and mine. Apparently en0 is for Ethernet and en1 is for WiFi/Wireless.

To be honest as long as your Apple Services are not impacted, it won't matter.

Usually when a wired network exist, it is en0 and wireless is en1. If wired doesn’t exist (even in real Macs) wireless is en0, and if you connect a wired network (through thunderbolt for example) it will be en1. iCloud work without problems in both cases.

@miliuco Thanks but I'm talking of a program, don't remember the name, when I started in hackintoshing, and the bootloader more used was Clover.

Thanks to all the help I received all is well now, although the wifi and ethernet are in the same position... LOL

@MorenoAv

I don't remember such a program. But there is another way that can work without installing anything.

  • Delete current networks: delete
    • /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
    • /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
  • Shut down
  • Disconnect the wifi interface
  • Boot
  • macOS assigns en0 to the Ethernet interface
  • Reboot
  • macOS assigns en1 or en2 to Wi-Fi.

I have read on some occasions that Apple recommends Ethernet en0 so that all services work properly.

This was taken from Apple Community (although we maybe OT here) ......Generally named as they are initiated on startup, 1st en0 is normally Ethernet, en1 normally Airport, but some computers will have more ethernet Ports end Airport moved up to en2, en3 etc..

I know in the past, certain Apple Services were kind of picky if the configuration was the other way around.

These days not so much. As an old stickler in the mud, I like to have things in the correct order.

I have En3 at all - and there are no problems, everything works🤨

Okay guys, things can work out in different ways.

Has Apple always recommended having Eth as zero? Yes.

Are there users whose system works properly with Eth other than zero? Yes.
An expert like @RehabMan did a way to recover to en0 for the Ethernet, because he thought it was useful? Yes.
That’s all.

hi guys I have a hp 440 g4 working like a beauty in Sonoma with o c patcher air drop etc etc.

I boot in Sequoia beta and after I apply the patch nothing happens and boot after that is slow with errors...

My wifi card is BCM4360 802.11ac  I more or less have same config for sequoia as I have for Sonoma

I enclose my Sonoma config maybe someone more expert can find the fault????config.plist

@robi62

Are you using OCLP nightly 1.6.0 from sequoia development branch?

https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/actions/runs/9786849186

Do you have AMFIPass.kext 1.4.1 and IOSkyWalkFamily.kext 1.1.0?

https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/tree/sequoia-development/payloads/Kexts/Acidanthera

https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/tree/sequoia-development/payloads/Kexts/Wifi

Hay has not changed is IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext 1.0.0, it's the same as before.

@miliuco hi no joy Im uploading my config.plist that I use for sequoia.maybe I do something wrong????

Is there a reason you won't post your OC/Kexts folder like asked? When you ask for help, give your generous helpers a little more to work with.

Damn right :)

My was messed up and I didn't know about @RehabMan way so I used different approach.

From /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration I deleted these files, reboot, reset Nvram:

  • com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
  • com.apple.network.identification.plist or com.apple.network.eapolclient/configuration.plist
  • com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist
  • NetworkInterfaces.plist
  • preferences.plist

Pics are before and after:

In OCLP/opencore_legacy_patcher/sys_patch/sys_patch_detect.py, the method self.check_os_compat() sets self.unsupported_os

Until you figure out the "Unsupported OS" issue, maybe you can manually set self.unsupported_os to False (or disable the self.check_os_compat() method) and rebui

hi where exactly is that???I cannot find it when I open show package contents????

I managed to fix the  "Unsupported OS"

All I did was add restricevents.kext and add -no_compat_check to my boot args and now I have wifi

@PoMpls Thanks for editing my config plist  that really helped

Btw, anyone know how to fix this?

Same EFI, different results. It doesn't read CPU name.

Are you update your kexts and put -lilubetaall on boot args?

See my config plist print

But im general prefer use Clover, so I not get name of my processor, because I don't care. I prefer Clover and About this Hack app

Same EFI in the same machine, sometimes reading CPU name and sometimes not?

Do you have the settings as per @Max.1974 above post?

I mean:

  • RestrictEvents.kext enabled
  • NVRAM >> Add >> 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:
    • revpatch=sbvmm,cpuname,pci
    • revcpu=1
    • revcpuname=Intel Core i7-12700K Alder Lake (or whatever you want)
  • NVRAM >> Delete >> 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:
    • revcpu
    • revcpuname.
