Already tried with AMFIPass.kext and the apps still crash, is possible that the kext makes conflict with my boot arguments?

My boot arguments are amfi=0x80 ipc_control_port_options=0 revpatch=sbvmm

Hi @MorenoAv @eSaF and others friends!! Here im test Adguard and Chrome and works fine, but im not use OCLP, so maybe the problem is the OCLP, that broke system.

Resolved...
I did a clean install, everything works as before.

Hello everyone. returning to my Acer E1 Notebook with Sonoma 14.1 perfectly installed from scratch, I did a Hardisk Test, with Sonoma 14.0 installed, the 14.1 update, after the second reboot, I encountered the same problem as above.
I understood in principle what could be the cause, certainly during the opencore legacy patcher installation, perhaps it installs something that crashes when updating Sonoma.
The problem was solved by starting the Clover in Safe mode, then launching the opencore legacy patcher which installs everything needed, upon restart it works perfectly, without this error recurring.
For further verification I also tested with 14.2 beta, same problem, same procedure.
I would like to point out that this problem has never been encountered on other macOS versions.

Hey all! I have a couple of questions:

a) Does revpatch=sbvmm negatively affect the performance? Is it ok to have it always there? Because so far, before any update I put the flag, reboot, update, remove the flag, reboot.

b) Is it ok to leave the SecureBootModel always Disabled or will it affect something else in the system? After each update, I have to set it in Disabled mode to apply the OCLP patch for Broadcom WiFi to work and then set it back to Default.

So far, my process for updating macOS looks like this:

1. I'm getting notified of a new macOS version from my MacBook Air

2. I'm running OCAuxiliaryTools, adding the revpatch=sbvmm flag and setting SecureBootMode to Disabled, then reboot.

3. I run the update, reboot.

4. After the installation I run the OpenCore Legacy Patcher for WiFi to work, run OCAuxiliaryTools, remove revpatch flag and set SecureBootMode back to Default, then reboot

Thanks!

Well, I like having security but, I think it’s laughable to talk about security when in order for Sonoma to work on Hackintosh you have to have SIP partially disabled. So, I will proceed and keep SecureBootMode Disabled as well.

Im not yet sure about sbvmm though. Running geekbench when the flag is present yields lesser results compared to when it’s not. But, it might be a marginal error or a coincidental… I’m thinking maybe since it thinks that it runs via a VM, the performance is dropping, not?

UPDATE: it seems that it does not affect the performance.

Thanks!
