You are "probador de CPUs nuevas y potentes" (new and powerful CPU tester) 🙂 They are very good silicon. It is stable in OOCT AVX2 at 5.4Ghz@1.100v And so it no longer consumes as much, about 290W at full speed in AVX2 and it continues to perform very well. 👍 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357733-pre-release-macos-sonoma-141/page/7/#findComment-2812602 Share on other sites

jsl2000
Eventually OpenCore 0.9.5 can boot my FX-6300 hackintosh at Sonoma 14.1 now ! In the past only Clover 5151/5155 can boot it at Ventura or Sonoma and OC can boot it at Monterey or lower. The key issue is that it need correct KernelDebugKit installed before reboot ! However Clover can show more correct info than OpenCore in my FX-6300 hackintosh. The board that can withstand the high consumption of these CPUs will be enough. And I have a Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite Ax with a 12600k and it works very well... (It is the computer my wife is using) But I personally don't like the Gigabyte/Aorus bios... it seems to me that they are very poorly organized... On the other hand, I do like the Asus and Asrock Msi ones more, but the one I like the most of all is Asus... If it is to be used with Sonoma, it doesn't matter, as long as it has audio and a compatible network, the rest will work perfectly 1 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357733-pre-release-macos-sonoma-141/page/7/#findComment-2812609 Share on other sites

As far as I know, Apple doesn't natively support, so the only hope would be something like a linux driver port (similar to Intel Wi-Fi). Also, since graphics can't be patched in /L/E any more, I think that 11th or 12th gen intel support would require root-patches similar to OCLP's Wi-Fi root patches. These are all guesses - so opposing views / corrections are welcome. I've seen enough impossible accomplishments in the hackintosh community to learn never to say 'never.' 11th and 12th gen support is unlikely and I agree it's probably not going to happen, but Ventura on my MBP6,2 was unlikely, too. 😀 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357733-pre-release-macos-sonoma-141/page/7/#findComment-2812727 Share on other sites

deeveedee
OCLP 1.1.0 includes AMFIPass.kext 1.4.0. EDIT: AMFIPass.kext 1.4.0 does not need a 'beta' boot-arg for Sonoma. Many thanks to all those who didn't listen (or didn't hear) when others said it was impossible. It is a shame that AMFIPass.kext is not in the Dortania builds. Maybe the only way to tell is by experimenting. The OCLP-110-generated config.plist still includes -lilubeta boot-arg.
