Hi,

 

im really new at this skinning and theming. Could someone please guide me as to where to start from. Id love to get some widgets on my desktop. some of those floating DT docks and the dvd like coverflows. how can i start off? sorry for being a total n00b at this...

How did you change the finder color / theme?

 

it's not the changing of finder color / theme.

this can be done modifying the itunes.rsrc using themepark,

you could actually modify it any elements you want as long as you know which by which you're editing. heh.

 

p.s. i love the black, but the fonts just go ugly in this way.

search in google, u could put widgets on desktop by enabling the developing mode of widget.

 

check this section of the forum, you could something like apple red theme, and they're all basic color modifying of osx.

I'm excited cause I have an Asus P5Q-EM, E8400 wolfdale Intel cpu, And another 2gbs of ram i already have just not enough slots on the current board. Ill post the another screenshot when the hardware comes on friday. :thumbsup_anim:

Anyways... I used Particleillusion's Particle viewer at full screen to make an animated wallpaper...

Brought to the front it makes a tidy and attractive screen lock...

Ok I've got it right now. What's the next step :D

 

Heh... go through your emitter library, find one you like the look of, open it up in particle viewer then hit full screen... you can zoom in or out as you see fit, then command/tab to your apps. Some of them will slow your system but others are fine.
