applesam161
ok this is a bit off topic but has to do with customizing...so...I've tried to do this multiple times myself but it never works out well...could anyone please make a menu bar that was pure black with white words then when it is selected the drop down is red semi-transparent with black words and instead of the apple logo the photo I attached the white part so please please please thanks in advance The very first post in that topic will have what you want. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=117568 Then to get the menu bar icons white, this post: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=835141 In order to have a white date and time you will need to use iStat Menus. A google search will bring that up pretty easily for you. The reason is, you can't change the colour of the mac date/time in the menu bar, but you can completely customise the iStat Menus one. You then need to modify the SArtFile.bin that came in the download in the Apple Red folder. According to this page (which is really handy to bookmark): http://macthemes2.net/wiki/SArtFile.bin ... you need to edit image 061 and 062. In order to open up SArtFile.bin go here and follow the instructions: http://macthemes2.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16785767 You will then need to replace the 061 and 062 images with the image you want for the apple menu bar normal and when selected. I'm not gonna do it for you, its much more fun if you do it yourself =] Trust me. You'll learn a lot about how to do it in future if you give it a go yourself as well. Before you start... PLEASE BACKUP! That is all. Edit: Im not too sure myself which image you're referring too... You said the white image, and they are both black and white. Top or bottom would help distinguish, and I might give it a go. Make it red
Sadly I have tried to do this myself going through all those steps but I fall short when it comes to manipulation in photoshop. I do have the white menu icons and such its more the red that I lack I meant the white "bird" with black around it for the replacement so it all stays white colored until something is selected...have a look hear it may show something of what I'm looking for in the drop down menu: http://interfacelift.com/themes-mac/details.php?id=175 Thanks if you do decide to do it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357210-show-your-os-x-desktop/page/151/#findComment-1068680 Share on other sites
.ShadowFox
I have many. Or have HAD many. I am a big Legend of Zelda, Sonic the hedgehog, InuYasha, FMA, Naruto, Bleach, and Jesus nerd. So I have a lot of anime and video game wallpapers. Haven't found any good Christianity wallpapers. This is, or was, my Mac Mini. Which needs an OS, cause I broke it. By far my favorite InuYasha wallpaper. But has a crappy resolution, which is why I don't use it on my Macbook. One of my other favorite Legend of Zelda wallpapers. Link and Wolf Link Midna and Wolf Link Blaze, from the Sonic-series Now for the Macbook. Note I don't have many saved. This is another one of my favorite triforce wallpapers. An FMA wallpaper, not the best. Of Ed and his brother, whose name I forgot. And now a Sonic wallpaper. This is the default Tiger wallpaper, with Sonic the hedgehog. I wanna find a Leopard one of these. This is also my current wallpaper. And I guess you could consider this a Christianity-wallpaper. I liked the blue on it. And now a very old picture of my PC wallpaper. Which is still there, actually. Cause I haven't used my PC for so long.
