SavageAUS Posted March 18, 2023 Share Posted March 18, 2023 Hi all. Just got my hands on a free optiplex 7040 so I thought I’d throw Ventura on it and see how it goes. I am unable to reach the installer though. I keep running into AHCI abortcommands errors as shown. AHCI is set to on in bios. Any suggestions? SavageAUS Posted June 20, 2023 Author Share Posted June 20, 2023 Evening all, Currently running Monterey on my dell optiplex 7040 pretty well. Looking to upgrade if possible to Ventura? Are these the only changes I need to make to run Ventura with gfx accel? Or do I need to change SMBIOS?
