a0011a91
I'm thinking about buying a new macbook. Can someone who has one already tell me how well counter-strike 1.6/condition zero run? (in either bootcamp or parallels) I know the intel gma 950 sucks for new games, but if i can run good old counter-strike with good frame rate (+80?) Then I'll be happy. Thanks. ThaHackBoy
Pretty Sure it will run, i've seen a macbook running Call of Duty 2 with a nice frame rate on Bootcamp. Even Counterstrike Source will do I think.

non sequitur
itll be fine in boot cmp, and probably crossover. parallels isnt the wayto go though. not enough ram, vm, not too good
NeSuKuN
and the lack of 3d support is a downside of paralells too. ^^U
a0011a91
Thanks guys. I guess I meant crossover, not parallels. Can anyone tell me the actual framerates they get on CS using either bootcamp or crossover?
milesce
I haven't tried CS, but Half-Life 2 runs great. Check out the beta forums at http://www.codeweavers.com/beta/cxmac/forum/ There's a lot of discussion of CS and how to get it to run best under Crossover. Parallels doesn't support 3D, so no games yet.
