Hi All,

I am currently running Mac OSX Monterey 12.0.1 and I want to upgrade to 12.5.1. When I run the update installs fine but on the 3rd boot, it causes my computer to restart.

Here is my system information:

  • Bootloader: OpenCore 0.8.3
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT
  • MOBO: ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI)

Kexts:

  • Lilu.kext V1.6.2
  • VirtualSMC.kext V1.3.0
  • AirportItlwm.kext V2.1.0
  • AppleALC.kext V1.7.4
  • IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext V2.2.0
  • RealtekRTL8111.kext V2.4.2
  • WhateverGreen.kext V1.6.1
  • RestrictEvents.kext V1.0.8

BIOS Settings:

  • Fast Boot: Enabled
  • Secure Boot: Enabled (Other OS)
  • fTPM: Enabled (Firmware)
  • Above 4G Encoding: Enabled
  • ReSize BAR: Enabled

I have attached a photo of the verbose boot logs at the point of failure. Can anyone help? Usually if you are on the latest OpenCore, have your kexts updated, the installation should go smoothly. Also, I have tried disabling Fast Boot, Secure Boot, fTPM, Resetting NVRAM but it does not seem to work.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
