Trying to Boot with 7,1 Does not seem to work. 6,1, at least gets some working DRM. With 7,1 this is what happens. Firmware freeze.

Maybe just stick with 6,1 if everything's working? From what I have read, performance is a little better not using IGPU.

Which OS are you trying to install? What is the config of your rig?

Its 12.5.1 Skylake i5 6400, saw thread about nvram values getting stuffed up if its not set right with MacPro7,1 but either 6,1 or 7,1, the processor is wrong.

Why aren't you using iMac18,1? Do you have a discreet GPU?

If you want to use MacPro SMBIOS try this EFI.

Its the rx470 thanks I will check it out. I have heard there is kind of better performance not using the IGPU as far as DRM? You have a lot of machines so you probably have an idea!

I have i5-6400 and using 12.5.1 without problems with iMacPro1,1 or iMac18,3.
