Hackintosh690
Hi, I have recently installed macOS Monterey on my laptop. Everything is going well besides for that there is no Hardware Acceleration on my Hackintosh. I am only getting 7MB of VRAM. I am still new to Hackintosh's , and don't know a lot about the complicated stuff about it, so if you can help me with my problem that would be gratefully appreciated! I have attached my EFI folder if that helps. https://www.transfernow.net/dl/efi-folder Edited May 13, 2022 by Hackintosh690 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/351677-no-hardware-acceleration-on-asus-x515ea-laptop/ Share on other sites

Slice
AFAIK the graphics is still unsupported in macOS. You have to use discrete AMD graphics card. Hackintosh690
Hi, Thank you for the quick response! I see that it is not possible , but do you think if I spoof my IGPU, and then use the correct framebuffers for the IGPU eg. UHD 630, Intel Iris Plus then do you think that maybe it would work? Once again, this is just a question., because I really want to use macOS smoothly. Thanks. Hackintosh690
Thank you. Do you think if I try this that maybe I could get Hardware Acceleration, or this is just for booting, and limited usage purposes?
