Haven't read all of the replies but i was able to get OS X and Vista installed as a dual boot on my MacBook and Imac. All I did was install XP using bootcamp and upgraded to Vista using the CD's once xp was up. Worked like a charm.

Both operating systems look and run great on both machines. Have to admit Windows is lookin more and more Mac! But that's not a bad thing!

Do you get aero in the Macbook? Is it sluggish at all? and is it RTM??

I did get aero on the Macbook. It is not sluggish one bit so far, even after installing CA's Antivirus. I installed the actual release of Vista Business edition. I attached a couple of screens.

Macbook specs = 1 gig of ram, 2ghz core duo

so....did u need boot camp to load up XP to begin with?

so you just used the vista upgrade?

im new to this..never tried this before..

if you have a vista disc burned you can just insert it when boot camp asks for a windows disc. vista should automatically download and install all the drivers you need (depending on what system you have) too.

the only thing that you might have to worry about is that vista has to have a NTFS partition, so either you need to make the partition larger than 32gb, or you'll have to format the partition from the vista installer.

I tried this method first with no luck. Has anyone been able to install vista freshly when bootcamp asks you to insert the XP cd? Every time i tried, it wouldn't recognize the disc as an OS cd? To answer another question, eEeEe> I did use bootcamp to load XP to begin with.
