I am running Catalina at the moment and it works perfectly on my system using Open Core. While trying to install Big Sur, I get stuck during before setup. I have setup EFI folder from scratch using latest Open Core. I tried both prebuilt SSDT as well as custom SSDT using SSDTTime but without success.

I have attached EFI Folder and error screenshot

Thanks to your advise, I was able to successfully install Big Sur. I really appreciate it!

Pretty much everything works fine at the moment except for a small display issue. Throughout the installation and even after installation, there's some sort of grainy effect on the screen along with frequent screen flickering. The screen goes black for 1-2 seconds and then comes back to normal. This cycle keeps repeating.

Could this issue be because of SMBIOS? At the moment, it is MacPro 7,1. Catalina uses iMac 19,1. However, Apple sidecar wasn't working in Catalina

Which SMBIOS would you recommend in my case? i7-8700K (iGPU) + Radeon Vega 56

Thank you so much 🙏
I did as you suggested and everything works perfectly including sidecar (which never worked on Catalina)

I was wondering if it is safe to upgrade to a higher Big Sur Version or directly to Mac OS Monterey using your EFI Folder

At the moment, my version is 11.2.3 and I can see a software update to Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1
