Hi I have this card. It works using the help found for the atheros (find IO8211Family.kext etc) But I don't have 108Mbps router so can't verify that works. Hi DenizenX, Sorry, but could you be more specific how you solved the driver loading issue? 'Cause I've tried to use both IO80211Family from the Jas 10.4.7 and the one from 10.4.5 update, none could be successfully loaded during boot. Kindly please advise which kext(s) should I replace or modify? Many Thanks! Tried different versions of the IO80211Family, also changed both 0 to 1 in the NetworkInterfaces.plist as described. --> ".. loaded unsuccessfully .." Does anyone have any suggestions? amdmatt Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 i just got the atheros ar5006x card off ebay and it works great in xp and os x (im running 10.4.8) all i had to do to get it working in os x is install the apple airport extreme 02-2007 update.. not sure if linking is within the forum rules... but its on apples website.
