Updated to High Sierra 10.13.4 from 10.12.6 and everything seems perfect EXCEPT when the computer goes to sleep... when I move the mouse to wake it the computer reboots.

Anybody have any ideas? I would sure appreciate it.

Specs: Dell Precision T1500, i7-880 CPU, MSI 760 GTX 2gb Video Card

Test this: CLOVER.zip

Hi Allan, thanks for the help. I tried your Clover folder but unfortunately I got the same results. I'm wondering if it's something in my BIOS Power Management settings , see pic below.

Ok in this section. Post the others BIOS sections.

Ok thank you, here are all of my other BIOS pictures.

Oh by the way. I have a drive with 10.12.6 and the sleep and wake works perfect. This leads to believe it's something in 10.13.4 and maybe not BIOS.

Run this command in Terminal:

log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason"

Post the result here.

Thanks Allan, here are those results.

For you :P

Haha... I though so but just checking.

I tried the DSDT and it still reboots on wake BUT I think it's my fault. I messed my drive up and had to reinstall everything. Sorry about that! :(

Don't worry, the DSDT will be the same even if you change your macOS version. ;)

DSDT will only change if you upgrade the BIOS, doing that you'll have new tables, everything will be new.

OK that's good news and important info on BIOS. I tried the DSDT but it is still rebooting on wake. But like I said, I ruined my Sierra 10.13.4 drive and had to redo it this morning. I am not a pro and I'm not sure if all the files/kexts/.plist, etc are still the same.

Can you take a look and see if everything is OK on this new install. I put your DSDT in but it still reboots when it wakes.

Test: config.plist.zip

And this kext folder too: Other.zip

Hi Allan! I finally backed up my drive and tried the new config.plist and kexts you sent. The display goes to sleep but the computer never goes to sleep and the fans stay running with the power light solid. Any Ideas?

Try this: DSDT.aml.zip

Maybe your Hack will be wake only via Power Button.

Unfortunately no luck with that DSDT. Power button or moving mouse or keyboard still reboots on wake.

With 10.12.5 that I upgraded from sleep works properly so maybe it's something with High Sierra. I thought I read something about InjectAllUSB for sleep but I may be wrong or maybe its for different hardware.

I still have the 10.12.5 working hard drive if you want the files from that if you think it might help.

InjectAllUSB for sleep

IMO it's not useful for your hardware.

Haha... yes, I just might have to keep it Mac OS Sierra. Well thank you for all the help. I was looking to see if you have a link to your PayPal so I can send you a little something for all the help but I couldn't see anything. Where can I find your PayPal link?
