sajiddesigner Posted December 26, 2017 Share Posted December 26, 2017 Hello I am trying to install Mac OS High Sierra on Dell Optiplex 780 (tower) desktop Specs are: Dell Optiplex 780 (tower)4GB DDR3 RamCore2Duo ProcessorATI Radeon HD5450 512MBI have created Bootable Usb, Clover method, copied kexts, config.plist and DSDT from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312656-guide-macos-sierra-1012-dell-optiplex-780-760-755-790-990/and http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312656-guide-macos-sierra-1012-dell-optiplex-780-760-755-790-990/page-47#entry2484626 I tried using bootflags GraphicsEnabler=Yes/Nonpci=0x2000 and npci=0x3000Replaced kexts and used different versions of FakeSMC but no success. My Screen doesnot stuck at DSMOS has arrived.. Now see what happens In Verbose: Screen stucks for 5-10 minutes at following three lines kextd stall [0] (240s) 'AppleACPICPU' kextd stall [1] (240s) ... kextd stall [2] (240s) ... Then it leads to Black screen with Apple white logo with loader. can you please confirm how can i fix this.. BUt this time i have removed WhateverGReen.kext as i am trying other solutions from internet as well. Now Very Strange thing is happening. I boot from USB, used NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext, VoodooHDA.kext , FAKESMC.kext Used bootflags: kex-dev-mode=1 nv_disable=1 -v Every thing went fine. I have installed MacOS on My HDD, and entire process went very last message : Only One minute remaining or something like that. and then computer shut down. I restarted computer, and selected HDD for boot Apple Black screen with logo came in front and loader completed to 80% or somewhat like that.. and then computer restarted itself and showing me MacOS Utilities Screen again.. Graphics card detected.. showing actual graphics card name and model .. Serial No is also showing. Graphics improved. previously resolution was 800X600 .. Now it is 1024X768 Try to boot first But i think, still graphics is not fully operational. As Screen colors are not good.
