Hello!

Thanks to Myzar who told me how, I could get my iTunes preferences back to work again in 10.4.8. To

simplify things, I made an installer package for you, ready to download.

I tested it several times, but this is my first package so please let me know, if it worked for you.

I also like to show you the picture, that my neighbours daughter just made :)

xtraa, you are my hero! It's people like you who make these patches accessible to everyone that make this community work. I have this running on 10.4.6 right now, and my system is now fully functional!

And thanks to Myzar too, of course for his hard work.

hmm... belatedly tried this fix, which permitted me to successfully access the itunes preferences without problems.

But on reboot, as for zico, problems on reboot, something was messed up, and couldn't get back in (apart from -s mode). Boot screen showed multiple attempts to start loginwindow in succession, preceded by mDNSResponder errors, and other errors I don't recall.

Fortunately had saved a trueimage of the working 10.4.8 sem, and re-established it.

Tried re-creating the problem by installing the fix again, but this time all worked well... The only difference was that the first time I was connected to the net while applying the fix, not the second time.

Apart from this detail, don't know what the problem was. Now it's working well.

Anyway, would be good to have uninstaller, or at least the list of changes to be able to undo ourselves (installer logs didn't show which files were changed), or the original method that was implemented in the pack, if possible.

In any case, thank you for the fix.
