ForumSnoBorderRK
EDIT thats the weirdest thing... okay so it works... but only from my headphones... so it has to do somethign with my speakers??? heres what happens, my logitech speakers are plugged in to the back of the system, where they are supposed to be plugged in (green plug). so i plugged in my headphones to the front of my pc (usually for headphone use only) and it came out from my headphones... so i decided to take the green plug out from the back of my pc, and put it into the headphones plug in the front of the pc, and its working....??? thats weird.. is there anyway i can just plug my speakers into the green plugin in the back instead of plugging it into the front and STILL make the sound work correctly?? ................................................................................ ................... hey guys, ive been searching everywhere on how to get my sound working. i have a dell xps 400 pentium d, dual core. and my audio driver is sigmatel 92XX AC Stac HD Audio im currently running on osx 10.4.8 hopefully thats not a problem. if anyone can please explain to me how to do this step by step in full newbies terms, that would be fantastic!! Prasys
it looks its its the same model as mine , you just need the AppleHDA audio kext , and then sap it back to the extensions folder. I will upload it to you , or you could search the forums for it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/32538-partially-solved-output-problem-created/#findComment-228720 Share on other sites
