pet1
I'd like to get a hold of this kernel because it is the least modified as I have very close specs to apple hardware.

pet1
Sorry, I'm a bit confused now. So, I don't have to compile what I downloaded? I can just put the mach_kernel file in the root directory? And copy the smbios.kext to the extensions folder?

pion
sure that i am stupid so could someone explain me how to set the "FSB" during installation. THX u set it after installation. Browse to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist look for <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>fsb=266</string> then put your fsb number in. (266 is core duo2) i dunno what cpu u got.

MarkW
sure that i am stupid so could someone explain me how to set the "FSB" during installation. THX With this version of his kernel, I believe it autodetects FSB speed.
