BCM943602CS combo card, Bluetooth not working

19 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I purchased a BCM943602CS Wi-Fi Bluetooth card off amazon.co.uk. I have Wi-Fi working but Bluetooth is not.

If I scan for devices, none are seen. I connected a Magic Mouse 2 via USB to setup. The OS says setup was successful, but after the USB cable is disconnected, I can't connect to the mouse from the Bluetooth menu. How can I confirm it is using Bluetooth on the PCI card? These were the same issues as using Bluetooth on the ASUS Maximus VIII Formula motherboard, which is why I purchased the card.

The machine is dual boot, both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work fine in Windows 8.1 Pro with the magic mouse 2 successfully setup.

Does anyone have any trouble shooting tips?

Cheers, Paul

check folder

u need only it

attachicon.gifCLOVER.zip

dont use kexts in s/l/e, etc, use Clover folder in UEFI mode

Check, if dont work back here

I tried using the attached Clover folder, but the machine reboots due to a kernal panic. A video of the boot in verbose mode is uploaded in the box.com folder noted above.

I am running 10.11.6, I notice all the kexts are in 10.12 folder, I tried renaming this to 10.11, makes no difference.

Can you clarify what you mean 'use Clover folder in UEFI mode'. I machine is UEFI based.

Cheers, Paul

It booted after replacing the DSDT however, it still has the original problem: The mouse pairs via USB, but does not work. Can't see any other BT devices.

just put kexts

reboot

try it

I tried this as well as using the Kext Utility to add them to the Extensions folder. Both times the same result.

Thanks for all your suggestions thus far, any other ideas?

Use DSDT above  DSDT.02 and add two kexts in Clover/Kexts.10.xx

attachicon.gifArquivo Comprimido.zip

Remove all kexts about bluetooth inside ur clover folder

Post Ioreg, extract with Ioreg Explorer

I finally got bluetooth working.

Turns out none of the extensions were needed... I turned off the motherboard bluetooth controller in the UEFI and viola it works!!!

I have same Wifi BT card, and a Gigabyte AORUS Z370 Gaming WIFI motherboard rev.1. I have your exact problem but I can not find the option.

I am having same issue on my setup. @MaLd0n will your process above work for other Broadcom cards? Using a slightly different card BROADCOM BCM94352Z.

Is there somewhere that I can read up on why it is better to put .kext files in the /others folder instead of /library/extensions like some guides say? I know that Morgonaut has said on her beginners guide that it is better to keep everything Apple Only in the /library/extensions folder but seems like many do not necessarily agree.

      Hi all!!

After using my old Dell Clover convert for a few years, I recently built a new Catalina box using OpenCore.  Everything works perfectly and has been very stable.  The only thing that is not working is unlocking with my Apple Watch.  The screen says "Unlocking with Apple Watch" with the spinning graphic and then just prompts for my password.  It does not shake or anything as if the password is incorrect.  My 2014 MBP unlocks without issue and they both use the same iCloud account.  I purchased the Fenvi FV-T919 pci-e adapter and BT, WIFI, Handoff, and Airdrop are all working without issue.  I confirmed in system preferences that unlock is supported and made sure that automatic login is disabled in my profile.  I have cleared keys out of the keystore, restarted a number of times, logged out and back into iCloud all to no avail.  Anyone else having this issue?  Thanks in advance!!

      Hello guys!
I have a Asus Zenbook with the following characteristics:
      Model: ASUS Zenbook UX310UQ
      CPU: Intel Core i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz
      IGPU: Intel HD Graphics 620
      RAM: 8GBx2 => 16GB RAM Bus 2133
      Wifi: Replaced with DW1560.
      Clover: Clover 5120
      OS: 10.15.6
      UEFI/LEGACY: UEFI
      Storage: SSD Crucial 500GB
      Everything works fine!

I have the WiFi/Bluetooth chipset DW1560 (DCM20702A) and a Logitech K380 Keyboard and magic mouse. My Hackintosh is sleeping fine only problem is that it won't wake from sleep on key presses. I already tested this USB port with a normal keyboard and the result was that it wakes up my Hackintosh on key presses. And in system settings the Bluetooth wake option is enabled, too.
Has someone an idea where the problem could be or which additional settings I have to verify?
      Thank you all

      Hello everyone,
I would like to know how to transfer (downgrade) the bluetooth module from Sierra to High Sierra.
On my iMac 2011, equipped with a bluetooth 4 dongle, I have three partitions: one with Sierra, one with High Sierra and one with Catalina (patch).
There is no way or program to connect High Sierra with the iPhone via bluetooth, while with Sierra and Catalina there are no problems.
After many unsuccessful attempts (I tried all the methods found on Google), I decided to try to transfer the Sierra bluetooth drivers to High Sierra, but I don't know which files should be moved.
Can anyone more experienced than me help me?
