kle500
ok so im making a menu but i dont want the button to be there right away i want it to come in a couple seconds later how can i do that???thanks -Korki- You mean the Highlight ? or the button (photoshop design)? If it's the first, it's very easy, although i don't work in DVDSP, i use Maestro on PC and all i do, is scroll a slider (Loop/Highlight) to the point i want the highlight to appear. That way, the intro of the menu appears without the highlight and after a period of time, that comes on. P.S. I wish i could switch to DVDSP, but i don't have a certified board. P.S.2 I am looking to change my Intel 965G board with the ASROCK CONROE945G-DVI one. Does anyone have this board and working successfully? I am looking forward for any comments on this board for work on FCS. Regards

kle500
works very good I assume you are referring to my question!!!! I am between the Asrock and the P5LD2-VM. My only concern with the ASUS one, is that it has the 2 PCI very close to the Video card PCIexpress, so in any future placement of a videocard, the 1 PCI will be OFF (unfortunately). I need the 2 PCI, cause in 1 i must place a Firewire PCI and in the other, i have an MPEG decoder (Cinemaster), that works in the DVDMaestro realtime output preview on TV. So at least for now, i will not need an extra VGA for work, but maybe in the near future i will need it. So witch one of the above shall i preffer? P.S. The problem with the PCI slot being too close to the PCI, i read it in some review, and i am not sure of what VGA cards they wanted to put. Maybe someone with the P5LD2-VM can answer me if it's true. Where and how much is it?
kle500
im buyi9ng some gigabyte 945gs let me check them and ill tell you if the pci is a problem there About "MPEG decoder (Cinemaster)" Wich card is that, do you have Universal drivers or intel drivers for it? Where and how much is it? Have you worked with the Asrock on the software i need to work with? DVDSP, FCP, imovie, idvd.... I can't decide between the Asrock and the P5LD2-VM. My only concern as i mentioned before, is that i haven't heard from anyone here mention on working on Final Cut, or Dvd Studio Pro on the Asrock board. As for the Cinemaster, it's a dedicated Mpeg2 decoder card, that work excellent with DVDMaestro. I can see real time my timeline and my menus, in my TV (No tv out). It's saves me a lot of trouble on some Field order problems, cause i don't have to write my project on DVD-RW to test. I bought the card on E-Bay, and it was the card that was on the Turnkey Dvd Authoring machines made from Spruce Technologies (Ex DVDSP). The card is old, but is recognized by XP and has allready installed the drivers, but to make it work i must install a specific Dvd Player. Let me know if i can be on any help. Regards George You can get the realtime output in DVDMaestro without the decoder, to do so you need three files, "CINEMAST.DLL", "CINMHOOK.DLL", "CINMST32.DLL", place them in \Windows\System32 and, voila!, you have realtime output without a decoder, (you can google for this files) To all who wish to author dvd's, DVD Studio pro does everything and more than the defunct DVDMaestro, why?, because Apple buy Spruce Technologies DVDMaestro sometimes ago and reshufled it, making it even more intuitive and easy to work, so, why don't try it?.
