I just d/l the new 10.4.8 jas dvd and everything is working somewhat ok. I have an ALC882 built-in audio on my motherboard and I was trying to fix my audio using the way in the tutorials section. when i try to edit AppleAzaliaAudio.kext it is nonexistant. did they change the name of it, anyone know how to fix this???

It should be there, if not try to find it in 10.4.8 Combo update (if you already downloaded it).

Edit it as you've done with previous kext and your snd card should work fine.

p.s.

otherwise pm me

thank you for replying. i feel like an idiot asking, but i don;t know where to find this kext off the combo update, how do i find this?

EDIT: I'm using Pacifist to open it and it;s still not there. would it be AppleOnboardAudio.kext?

And? Founded or fixed it?
