    [GUIDE] USB Fix El Capitan 10.11

    Hi all, I have old HP 6710B and I have to use USB kexts from 10.7.5. I've tried to modify aplleusbehcipci for ElCapitan but no go. DSDT from 6710 have some strange USB naming (i.e. C11B). Maybe someone can share Yosemite USB kexts, please? Thanks in advance, fingerr.

Hi all, I've tried to modify DSDS of my Asus U30Jc i5-560M equipped notebook for Mountain Lion and result is battery showing 0% and remaining time says "Calculating", but I can see info about battery in system profiler. Values in system profiler seems to be cosmic: - Charge remainig: 429445 - Amperage (mA): 429645937 - Voltage (mV): -230 Without any changes made to stock DSDT battery shows 0%, no battery information in system profiler, but remaining time seems to be caltulated properly.   4. Hi, is there any debug version of this kext? Second day I'm tryning to get it working, but no luck.     [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

    Hi beta992, my DSDT is patched (nvidia not visible in ML), but I'm trying to make brightness slider to work. I can adjust brightness OOB but slider is not visible. I've modified DSDT and when I go to screen settings I can see slider but it just don't work (nothing happens when sliding). I'll try your mods but first I'd like to make AppleHDA.kext and brightness working. --edit-- I've tried your kext's but AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext (I've replaced all three kext's) is not loaded,and log doesn't say anything about it. Can't say if there is any improvement because I have no idea if GPU throttling is working, and HWSensors doesn't detect my intel grpahics. Any ideas? I'd probably would have to run some benchmarks but right now no time to play with this and I don't play games (no time for that :-( ). -- thanks in advance and best regards fingerr
  6. Hi all, I'd like to ask you something, brightness works OOB on my laptop (Asus U30JC) but I don't have brightness slider. I tried to modify my DSDT but seems there is no name associated with my laptop display.     Hi 2bad0, you're lifesaver, I've been trying all day to get it working, and always landed either with stuck, reboot or distorted screen. Once I've removed Intel injection from Clover I have working system with QE/CI (according to DVD "show supported features" info) :-) p.s @GhostRaider, you can update your excelent guide with note that if screen is distorted one may disable any graphics injections (at least for Clover). RIght now I'm booting from Clover USB (FAT32 formatted) as I was unable to get it working when installed to HFS partition. My hardware is Asus U30JC, Core i5-560M, HD Graphics with Optimus (Nvidia 310M - not usable under OSX). -- best regards fingerr

  9. Shutdown and restart works perfectly and SystemProfiler says integrated USB. One thing is IOReg shows errata 0x0, according to 1-st post this can be problem "(see the "Errata" property of "AppleUSBUHCI" devices in IORegistryExplorer: if it is 0x0, the driver has probably not recognized the device)." Or maybe lack of full support for Intel GMA HD can prevent going into sleep. Best regards, fingerr.

  11. When I choose Sleep, mouse pointer disapears, no response when I move touchpad or keyboard, I have to press powerbutton, and then Sleep/Shutdown/Restart window appears. Looks like it is preparing to go to sleep but screen stays on.
