real_sinjon
Hi I'm thinking of buying a Pentium D 915 to go with the Asrock 775i65G that I have just purchased. Does anyone have experience good or bad with this CPU? Thanks
AREOS
I have it and I have some problems with the 10.4.6 Jas DVD, but with the Jas 10.4.7 DVD just sure to tick Intel SSE3 and the 10.4.7 update combo. and you will be fine. Good luck

Proteo
I am currently downloading 1.4.6 JAS DVD I'd suggest you to stop that and go all the way for the 10.4.8 one.
Vitaliy
cpu is ok and almost any cpu (with sse3) will work w/o problems however you should always carefully check motherboard to have supported sound, network, ide/sata and so on
Wisam
Proteo thanks for your reply. I downloaded 1.4.8 Kiko Final SSE3 INTEL package. I thought the only way to get 1.4.8 is through upgrade from 1.4.6 or 1.4.7 (which I only found today). Is there a full 1.4.8 Release ? What is all about getting the latest kernel build, from what I read here that the newer versions have blocked kext drivers. So it is better to use old builds, right ? Vitaliy can you tell me where the link to make a mac clone. I am planning to buy a new pc (medium budget) and I would like to make my rig as close to mac as possible without breaking audio, network drivers. I would like to know if I can run 3D software or not. I don't seem to find the link. Sorry for the long post
