PowerISO in Windows should be able to do that.

nero works best since nrg is nero's proprietay format.

Sure, but is there a Nero version built for Mac OS X? He apparently has only Mac OS.

  • 8 months later...

When I either convert and NRG to ISO using nrg2iso or just rename the NRG to and ISO I still can't mount or burn the image under OS X. Gives me a message in disk utility saying "not recognized". The NRG files work fine in Windows with daemon tools or burning with Nero. What do I do now? I keep lots of BIN & CUE, ISO, NGR, DMG files on my hard drive as a backup. Anytime I need to burn one, I would prefer not having to boot into windows.
