james341 Posted May 15, 2016 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Hello Today I was updating El Capitan with the AppStore and made a reset and my machine is not booting - I'm getting Apple Logo and than after 2 min I see no entering sign. I am using Clover and this is the first time it's happened to me. maxprum Posted May 16, 2016 Share Posted May 16, 2016 I have had the same problem. I have a quo with a Z77MX-QUO-AOS motherboard which I was running on a Z77MXQUOAOS.H2N.OZ1669M BIOS. Would you guys be able to explain to me how I could execute some of the suggestions you mentioned? james341 Posted May 16, 2016 Author Share Posted May 16, 2016 My problem is that I don't I have other Mac machine so I can patch the files , i've also tried to boot with the flag you mentioned and got the same result- is there a way to connect the HDD to my other Windows machine I have to patch the files to the Mac efi? Slice Posted May 16, 2016 Share Posted May 16, 2016 You can boot into CloverGUI and then start Shell = first icon in the second row. Shell gives you a possibility to read, write, delete and move files in EFI partition. As well on USB drive with FAT32 file system.
