theconsumer1
Hi, I need help resolving some issues with my build. Firstly, this board has MANY issues. Most are too infrequent to diagnose though. But I am getting sick of the damn kernel panics that I get. and its hilarious because EVERY TIME its a different reason in the report. What the F*** Basically, I am asking if someone can look at my report, and my files and see if there are any issues with my build. JahStories
I suggest you trying not to use the usb wifi, to see if it's driver is causing those issues, it could be it. spakk
your boot args are confusing: -v -xcpm darkwake=no ==>0 (I think the correct value should will be 8 or test with 9,10 or 11 ) rootless=0 (no longer necessary with el capitan ) slide=0 kext-dev-mode=1 (no longer necessary with el capitan) and the Intel® HD Graphics 4600 you have disabled in BIOS and use the GTX650, is that correct? 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311241-kernel-panic-and-issues-help/#findComment-2220570 Share on other sites
theconsumer1
Spakk, my apologies for the late reply... I use darkwake=no because my hackintosh would constantly wake from sleep multiple times in the middle of the night eventually to shut itself down. Darkwake=no fixed that for me. Can you explain more on this darkwake thing. I will remove the rest of the flags! I am using the GTX650 - not sure about it being disabled in the bios but my GTX always loads. Thank you! theconsumer1
Spakk, will do! The issue is that these panics are not associated with one another and are random. My system can run for days without KP. Possibly weeks. But then they re-occurr and are not specific to a certain task. I will make the changes you request and respond back. Thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311241-kernel-panic-and-issues-help/#findComment-2220971 Share on other sites
