KazWolfe
Hello, My Hackintosh's power management is doing pretty admirably so far, except for the fact that my system will not resume after hibernation. It gets as far as the boot screen, but the last "dot" doesn't fade in completely. Instead, the system crashes and reboots. How would I diagnose and/or fix this? Thanks in advance. Allan
What hibernation mode are you using? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309210-el-capitan-not-waking-up-from-hibernation/#findComment-2185387 Share on other sites
shyhwei1
I have the same problem, some guide told me to set hibernation mode to 29, but terminal won't let me do that. I can only set it to 2, 3, or 25 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309210-el-capitan-not-waking-up-from-hibernation/#findComment-2185882 Share on other sites
Slice
You can set mode 29 by manually editing /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.PowerManagement.plist and reboot for the change will take place. Hibernation works in ElCapitan for those who has it working in Yosemite. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309210-el-capitan-not-waking-up-from-hibernation/#findComment-2185940 Share on other sites
