Node 25 LineIn do not exist in their codec dump

LineIn does not exist in codec_dump
Can not you work with the internal mic?

Sorry it's another failed attempt..

I think I can but I just want it to be able to switch between internal mic and external with a click of a button

Anyway thanks for all the help

Hello, I have the same mic problem because of built-in+ComboJack issue. But my device is ALC233 with only 3 verbs(mic, speaker, and headphone).

I managed to make internal mic working though. Could you help me to make external mic working?

How did u get your internal mic working? Can I have your patched AppleHDA for reference?

The best method for all versions of OS X is Clover's on the fly.

Try this ...

1. Download on the fly Package
2. copy realtekALC.kext to EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.10/ or …/10.11   (depending on the Yosemite or Capitan)
3. copy original AppleHDA.kext (Vanilla) of your current version to Desktop  (no patched HDA)
4. copy layout3.zml.zlib and Platforms.zml.zlib to Vanilla Desktop/AppleHDA/Contents/Resources/
5. add in Clover - config.plist:

6. activate in config.plist Inject kexts to Yes
7. install AppleHDA.kext from Desktop to S/L/E
8. install EAPDFix.kext to S/L/E  (for Audio after Sleep)
9. rebuild cache via terminal with: sudo kextcache -prelinked-kernel
10. reboot and have fun

Hi, MacPeet, sorry for my late reply. But Do you missing something ? I have just reinstall my mac for take the vanilla AppleHDA kext and nothing happened, sound is not detected.

// I tried use your layout3.zml.zlib and Platforms.zml.zlib files, change the name to layout3.xml and Platforms.xml -> use AppleHDA Patcher v1.1 tool but not work too. Thanks for your help :)

With DSDT Inject and without Clover Inject it does not work?

I do not get it. The patch is ok, although it does not go.  :(

All my computer work on the fly audio with Clover and DSDT Inject.

Why not with you, mmmhhh ...   :(

Yes, if it does not work :( , then:

delete the config.plist audio patches
delete the realtekALC.kext
Install again the patched AppleHDA to S/L/E (unfortunately then again after each update)
rebuilt cache

Thank  you sir, but nothing happen. I can't see input device in Sound... So what's wrong?   :(

UPDATE!! Internal Mic is fine now! Only External now!!!!

Hey babibada. Do you have the pathmaps.xml, layout3.xml and the verbs you used for your patch. I have a very similar setup , but I can't get the headphones to work?

@nhox.blue

Please Report!

Do all connections work with the new Kext (Speaker / Mic / HP / LineIn)?

No subwoofer is configured in the kext. For this I need again a codec_dump of Linux!

This requires 2x internal speakers (1st speakers / 2nd subwoofer) and these are connected with Midi-Setup.

My laptop works very well with subwoofer. Your codec has only one speaker connector. Therefore, please codec_dump!

I'm having the same issue on ALC290 on a HP Pavilion 15 StarWars edition an002nv.

Currently have internal speaker out working with AppleALC.kext and layout-id of 3 injected via DSDT edit.
