WHAT THE TOOLS DO

Install Clover UEFI with suitable settings to EFI partition.

Install approriate kexts to your /EFI/Clover/kexts (important kexts) and /System/Library/Extensions/ (DummyHDA kext).

Take your ACPI files (DSDT, SSDT) from /EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin/ in your EFI partition or a "CLOVER" partition, patch it then copy to your EFI partition.

WHAT THE TOOLS DON'T

Teach you about Hackintosh but you can learn it later here.

PRE INSTALL

You can use any guide to install OS X by using Clover UEFI in insanelymac, or you can use my guide

Installing Mavericks using Clover (UEFI)

Installing Yosemite using Clover (UEFI)

If the config.plist does not work, you can use the files from here or here

Make sure you formatted your drive as GPT.

POST INSTALL

I assume at this stage you can boot to your OS X on HDD by using USB.

1. Remember the USB partition that contains Clover bootloader? Name it "CLOVER" (if you followed my guide, it's already "CLOVER")

2. Boot to Clover screen, press F4 (twice), nothing will happen, but in fact Clover will extract ACPI files to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin in your CLOVER drive.

3. Boot to OS X, go to "CLOVER" USB, check if you have many files in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin.

4. Run the tool and select options appropriate to your laptop:

Clover UEFI: Install Clover UEFI bootloader

OS X support kexts: select only the version that matches your laptop.
Config and DSDT patcher:

- Model: your laptop Model
- Fan behavior: Reading only.
- Display type: your display resolution

SSDT generator/patcher: Generate SSDT.aml for your CPU Management

Misc OS X fixes:

- Probook/Elitebook Logos: Change MacBook logos in About This Mac to Probook/EliteBook
- Fix EDID: Don't select
- Color profiles: Recommended.
- Atheros Bluetooth/Broadcom Bluetooth: If you have a compatible bluetooth card.

Extra tools: All optional. Select the ones you want.

- Troubleshooting: Collect all troubleshooting files.

5. Reboot and pray. If your laptop does not boot Clover from HDD (mostly Asuck notebooks), add boot option like this guide.

6. If you get stuck while booting from HDD, it means you selected wrong settings in the tool. Boot from USB and repeat step 3.

7. When you can get to OS X from HDD, do this to enable sound:

  • Use Kext Wizard to repair perrmission and rebuild cache. Restart
  • At Clover screen, press space bar and select boot without caches.
  • Use Kext Wizard to rebuild cache.
  • Restart

Can you add support for ASUS G750JX Notebook Laptop?

Since we don't have access to the laptop itself, we will need to do some testing and knowledge of its actual hardware. If you are willing to, PM me, I'm the one responsible for doing these stuff. OP is the coder

Well, I need your ACPI table ( dumping using Clover's F4 function ), and generate a hardware report using AIDA64 ( enter serial number first )

Is ACPI Similar to DSDT? I don't have Linux installed on my laptop and I don't know how to do that too. So can I extract ACPI Table from Windows 8.1 itself?

AIDA64 I can get you hardware report but how to extract that report?

For ACPI, get it through RW-Everything in Windows. For report, look around AIDA64, it should be there

Hi please find link to my ACPI Tables.bin and My Hardware Report. Since I am using a Trial Version of the AIDA64 app many serial numbers have been censored. The links have been pm'd to you. Thanks

Thanks for this Guide/Tool. :thumbsup_anim:

In my ASUS X450LA almost everything works.
But no audio "Conexant cx20751/2" and also has no audio in the HDMI.
I do not know how to configure AppleHDA.
HAHA

Hi All,

I'm mochaemiro,

I've Installed a Yosemite to My ASUS N46VZ, and it's working great.

Here I make a simple list (working / In Progress)

This is Working:

  1. Base System
  2. Touchpad (multi touch on Elantech)
  3. Wifi (Switched with AR9285)
  4. Display (Looks great!)
  5. Sleep/Wake
  6. Apple ID (iCloud, AppStore)

In Progress:

  1. Backlight keyboard (need to turn on manualy)
  2. VGA Port (not working)
  3. Sound (still not working after reinstall the HDA, I've suspected something wrong with my boot cache).
  4. Face Time, iMessage.
  5. HDMI not tried yet.

So basically it's running smoothly, but am I missing something? :( Especially for VGA Port i need it to show off lol  :P

Will post screen shot later if needed.

Both VGA and HDMI won't work ( I have a tester ). Basically VGA support is obsoleted for HD4000 from 10.8.3 onward, and HDMI is controlled by the Nvidia GPU, which has been disabled
