gergito
Hi, I`m using ESXi 5.5 U1 and Mavericks 10.9.4 VM. Creating clean install and start testing. I have been unable to get any bootloader to load after start Mac OS X VM (Mavericks 10.9.4). After installing and reboot VM going to default Mac screen, and if I make changes in bootloader, they do not reflect. Example installing on clean VM Chameleon (or other bootloader) and make changes (-v, loading kexts .. etc) and after reboot this changes do not reflect! Testing with Chimera, Chameleon and Clover. They don't work... Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300830-installing-bootloader-on-esxi/ Share on other sites

Donk
You don't need any boot loaders for VMware. Use the unlocker I wrote, it is in the files section here, and there are support topics in this forum. johnsmith2
Donk, I am using ESXi 5.5 on an AMD Athlon server with your unlocker works great, but from all the millions of posts about getting iMessage to work, Clover seems to be the only way. Is this true or is there a way to make iMessage work on ESXi? Thanks for your great work btw.
