Mieze
I uploaded version 2.4.0 of the driver which adds support for AppleVTD, provided your mainboard also does. In case you are unsure if you need AppleVTD, leave it disabled and you'll be on the safe side. When you enable AppleVTD and experience one of the following issues, it's most likely that your board doesn't support AppleVTD: Kernel Panics. The machine suddenly reboots, freezes and/or the fans speed up. No network connection at all. The link status keeps going up and down. Very low connection throughput. Please keep this limitations in mind and don't blame me if your system doesn't work properly with AppleVTD with 2.4.0. I did my share to make it work but I can't overcome the limitations of the mainboard. 😿 Have fun❣️ Mieze Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300056-solution-for-qualcomm-atheros-ar816x-ar817x-and-killer-e220x/page/13/#findComment-2830565 Share on other sites
Mieze
Is there anybody who needs an AppleVTD compatible version of the driver for Tahoe? To add the missing code wouldn't take more than a day or two but setting up the test system and running the tests would be a more time consuming task. Therefore I'm asking now to find out if it's worth the effort?
