Just think 3 years ago Detroit was 1 loss away from having the worst record of all time! Now they beat what is considered the best baseball team in the post season. Should this even be possible? Like many Mets guys, I'd root against the Yankees just out of spite even though I should technically root for New York teams in general. Although I've managed to quit that habit, I gotta admit the Yankees aren't so hot lately. And the Yankees are sucky this season? yeah, they had a terrible showing during the playoffs, but consider the {censored} and injuries they had to go through during the season and still ending up with the league's best record, that's pretty damn good.
