Lozpetts162
Hi guys!My first post here so I apologize if its in the wrong place!I'm very new to this stuff so sorry if i ask stupid questions haha.First my spec:Asrock Fatal1ty x79 professionalIntel i7 3930k8gb Corsair Vengeance 1600Asus Matrix 7970 PlatinumAt the moment, i'm just trying to boot into the installer. I'm using the clover bootloader and iAtkos ML3U on seperate usb drives. I boot into clover, select "install OSX from iAtkos ML3U" and it starts to boot, and then hangs on "system uptime in nanoseconds:*insert a load of numbers*". I've tried -v, -x, usekernelcache=no, cpus=1 and none made a difference.I have virtualization, speed step and HT disabled.I can't use Graphicsenabler=no because on x79 theres no intergrated graphics, so i can't try that (I don't think?) I am stuck! Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294987-pre-install-stuck-at-system-uptime-in-nanoseconds/ Share on other sites
Rampage Dev
I support all LGA 2011 systems on my blog. Here is the install guide: http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/os-x-10-8-mountain-lion/ And here is the AsRock support page; http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/dsdt-downloads/asrock-x79/ If you are not using a retail install method you are wasting your time. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294987-pre-install-stuck-at-system-uptime-in-nanoseconds/#findComment-1980777 Share on other sites

Rampage Dev
No. You need a real mac or working hackintosh to create a retail installer using the app from the App Store.
