1. Hey guys Here is my little guide to install OSX 10.6.8 on the EeePC 1000H. I'll quote some of the CicciMTS and scenemusic topics, thank you guys. What is needed ? A Asus EeePC 1000H A 8GB or more USB Pen drive An empty hard disk drive An other mac or hackintosh A USB mouse My package of tools, including the latest Apple OS X 10.6.8 Combo update Restore and Boot from USB On your mac/hack, go to Disk Utility, find your USB Pen drive, erase it with GUID Partion Table and Mac Extended Format (journaled). Then, restore your iAtkos image on your USB pen drive. Next, you need to make your USB drive Bootable. Find Chameleon in the tools Folder, open it and install it on your new Snow Leopard USB pen drive. Installation Boot into BIOS, if available, set the SATA mode to AHCI. If you can't it should work too so don't worry Select your USB Pen Drive and boot on it. Chameleon will appear, select your iAtkos install drive, and type -v to boot in verbose mode. After a moment, the OSX installer should appear. Trackpad will not work so plug in a usb mouse. Select your language and click next. on the top of the screen, find disk utilty, and erase your HDD with GUID Partion Table and Mac Extended Format (journaled) options, and close Disk Utility. Click Next until the installer ask you on which drive you want to install OSX. Do not install it yet, click on Customize. Select the following options : -BOOT ASEREBLN -BOOT OPTIONS 32BITS GRAPHICS ENABLERS ETHERNET BUILTIN USB (all) -PATCHES CREAR EXTRA FAKESMC DISABLER RTC KERNEL ATOM EVOREBOOT SLEEPENABLER UUID -DRIVERS SATA-IDE SATA/AHCI or INTEL SATA/IDE if you didn't enable AHCI in your bios -SOUND VOODOHDA -PS2 VOODOOPS2 or APPLEPS2 -POWERMANAGER VOODOPOWER -LAPTOP HARD BATTERY CARD READER THERMAL ACPI -VGA INTEL EFI STRING GMA950 (all) -WIFI Ralink RT2860 -WIRED ATLANSIC L1E Click OK and install OSX on your HDD. First Boot and update to 10.6.8 Remove your USB stick from your computer, Chameleon should appear, boot your new OSX installation with -v boot flag. Once you've created your account you should be on your desketop. Run the Combo Update installer but do not reboot!! Force Quit out of the installer (hold down the Option key and click and hold over the Installer icon in the Dock. Select Force Quit) and Run the Legacy Kernel installer and then reboot the machine. now you should see that your graphics driver doesn't work anymore. Run Kext Utility and let it repair the permissions and update the cache. when it says "all done" drag and drop all the graphics kext into kext utility, and when it says "all done", reboot your computer. Cross your fingers and reboot your computer. You should now have a fully working EeePC 1000H, with graphics, sound, wifi, USB, bluetooth and Ethernet Working with the lastest Snow Leopard update. You can have the latest security updates on your system with Software Update, it will not damage your installation. Sorry for my bad english, I'm french. Fell free to ask questions if you need, thank you guys

iATKOS S3 V2 on A-bit AG8?

I know the machine and OS X version is old, but its the machine I have and I want to know if I can install iATKOS S3 V2 on the machine? My specs are: A-Bit AG8 (not to be confused with the A-Bit AG8-V) 2 GB DDR400 RAM (An additional 2GB of DDR400 RAM will be installed soon) Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz (OC to 3.52GHz) EVGA GTX 260 TP-Link TL-WDN4800 SoundBlaster SB0507 WDC Blue 1TB (A soon to be installed IDE DVD player) (A soon to be installed USB 3.0 PCIe card) System has Windows 8.1 installed and I plan on dual booting (maybe triple boot with linux) Currently my problem is that I am having issues getting the installer to start, I have used the following flags: -v /arch=i386 -v /arch=i386 /legacy -v /arch=i386 /legacy /graphicsenabler=yes all have the same result: a reboot just before the apple logo would normally show up, after all the kexts are loaded by chameleon, the system will just reboot. What do I need to do?
3. Hi I have my laptop, which it is dell Inspiron 3521. So is there any guide on how to install mac os 10.12 on my laptop dell 3521, because I try to install by making standard USB installation but not work. Can anyone help me, please? Thanks
4. Hey, so I just installed Sierra using the iAtkos SR and everything works except my Graphics... It shows that I have only 5MB Video memory.. My card is AMD Radeon R9 270. Tried different stuff when installing, like different framebuffers like Hamachi, Futomaki, Dayman, but nothing seems to be working. Tried installing extra stuff with a "AMD Radeon GPU Injector Tool" but nothing worked. The weird thing is, everything worked flawlessly on Yosemite. I even updated without problems via the AppStore, and I never did anything special for my graphics back then as far as I remember. I was running a pretty stable hackintosh on Yosemite (It was iAtkos too), but wanted to upgrade. Has someone with the same graphics card encountered this issue, and fixed it? Thank you in advance!
CPU: Intel Atom N270 @ 1,6Ghz 32-bit RAM: Corsair 2Gb Video: Display Intel 945GSE Wireless: Broadcom4312 Ethernet: Atheros AR8121 Cosa è necessario 1. Penna USB 8Gb 2. Connessione Ethernet 3. Un altro Hackintosh o Mac 4. Tanta pazienza. A me ci sono voluti circa 40 minuti. Chameleon 2.0 RC4.pkg.zip Prestate molto attenzione a dove state installando il Chameleon. Tornare su Terminale.app e digitare come segue cd /S*/L*/E* rm -Rf AppleIntelGMA950.kext rm -Rf AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext rm -Rf AppleHDA.kext cp -R ~/Desktop/backup/* ./ 4. Eliminare SleepEnabler.kext Sulla mia installazione, la cartella "Extra" era nascosta, quindi con ShowHiddenFiles.app bisogna renderla visibile. 3. Riparate i permessi con KextUtility.app 4. Riavviare. Wireless 1. 2. Dopo trascinatelo in /Extra/Extensions. Riparate i permessi 5.
6. Hi Guys, I earlier had iAtkos ML2 installed on my PC(with Windows 8.1), which was working fine, and recently I upgraded my Graphics card(Intel Chipset to nVidia GT610) and also upgraded to Windows 10. Since then, Mac wasn't working. The bootloader would start and sometimes later says, 'Errors Encountered...' and reboots. I also have Ubuntu installed in the same PC, which is working fine. I formatted the HFS+ drive from windows, and tried reinstalling ML2. It would show up some initial things, and gave some lines(as usual as in my previous successful installation), and rebooted automatically. Yesterday, I got a copy of iAtkos Y 10.10.3 Yosemite, and I created a bootable USB and plugged it. As in my ML2, it booted up and asked me whether clover or chameleon, and I chose clover, which again went to show apple logo and rebooted immediately, an USB started again(same error as in ML2 installation), and now I chose Chameleon, the result was similar to that of ML2 installation. I used EasyBCD to boot up Windows and Ubuntu with Metro style bootloader. I also have my quick booting disabled. What is causing the issue? Any Help? Thanks in Advance. P.S.- *Mine is non-UEFI *I tried one thing...I changed my active partition to the partition to which I had planned to install Mac, and booted Mac, and still got the same problem. *The lines which showed up before rebooting in the chameleon bootloader were like, ....Unknown Architecture....Errors Encountered.... The same had happened in my first installation, but was successful
7. Hi, I've just got a iAtkos El Capitan image according with my hardware. I've installed it and it works, but I can't get Graphics Acceleration working. I've tried to disable the integrated graphic (Intel HD graphics 4600). I've also tried to install NVIDIA drivers for mac, but it still doesn't work. So, guys, do you have any idea about this? Thanks. PD: I'm a bit n00b in this area
8. Inception After my experience with iAtkos s3 v2 and Acer Aspire One D150 i decided to write a guide can help someone. Hardware Config: This is the hardware configuration of my Acer Aspire One D150-1Bb. It's very important check the components. CPU: Intel Atom N270 @ 1,6Ghz 32-bit RAM: Corsair 2Gb Video: Display Intel 945GSE Wireless: Broadcom4312 Ethernet: Atheros AR8121 Whats is necessary 1. USB Pen 8Gb 2. Ethernet Network 3. An other Hackintosh o Mac 4. Many patience. Pre-Install: Boot from USB After you download the iAtkos s3 v2 (Snow Leopard 10.6.3) ISO you can restore it on USB at least 8Gb. You can do it with another Mac or Hackintosh, or if you have external DvD reader, you can create a DvD to boot. Restore the ISO of iAtkos with Utility Disk and then you must install the bootloader. The only one that works for me it was Chameleon v2 RC4. Pay attention where you install the bootloader! Chameleon 2.0 RC4.zip After that the iAtkos is ready to install. Installation The BIOS Put the USB before start the PC. On Start push F2 to access to BIOS where we need to set the Hard Disk in SATA Mode. So, from "Information" tab slide to "Main" tab and scroll down to "SATA Mode". Set it on "AHCI". After that slide to "Boot" tab and scroll down to USB HDD, pushing F6 take the usb on the first place. Now save all with F10 and Yes. The USB will boot. The Installer I don't write flag on boot for the installation, if you have some problems you can try with verbose (-v). During the installation the trackpad will not work, but the keyboard yes, so you can use a USB Mouse (mine is a wireless mouse, so i suppose they works). With Utility Disk create the partition e go on with the installation. When you select the partition where you want install iAtkos, go on Customization (button on bottom left - I'm Italian, so my label is different). You need to install: Bootloader: Chameleon v2 RC4 (the others bootloader gives to me only problems) Bootloader Options: GraphicsEnabler, USBFix Patches: /Extra directory, fakesmc, Disabler, RTC, Modified Kernels -> Intel Atom, USB, UUID Main Hardware: SATA/IDE: AHCI SATA, Intel SATA/IDE Audio: Voodoo Audio PS/2: Voodoo PS/2 CPU Power Management: select all Laptop Hardware: Battery, Card Reader, TSC Sync VGA: Intel (select the first three voice) Network: Wireless: don't select anything. Bcm4312 card gives to me some problem during the first boot, so we will install it after. Wired: Atheros (Select all) Now you can install iAtkos s3 v2. Post-Install: il primo avvio Try one first boot without flag on boot, if you can't start try with these: -v -f npci=0x2000 arch=i386 cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No(o Yes) Follow the first boot and the configuration of your account and now download all necessary files for setting up the aspire one, because after that you can have some USB problems. Now reboot. Because the CPU is an Intel Atom we need to use a modified kernel. You can find here ( here the original post) the atom kernel of Snow Leopard 10.6.8 . More or less i followed the post step by step, skipping some step about SL 10.6.7. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT do a backup of the kext IOUSBFamily.kext e IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext that are necessary to work the USB after the update, that replaces this files. What you have to do: 1. Download and unzip the kernel on Desktop 2. Start Terminal.app and write this sudo -s mv ~/Desktop/mach_kernel_atom / cd ~/Desktop mkdir backup cd /S*/L*/E* cp -R AppleHDA.kext ~/Desktop/backup/ cp -R IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext ~/Desktop/backup/ cp -R IOUSBFamily.kext ~/Desktop/backup/ Now you can start the update ONLY FROM COMBO UPDATE (you can find here). IT'S VERY IMPORTANT that, when update finish: NOT reboot. 3. Back on Terminal and write cd /S*/L*/E* rm -Rf AppleIntelGMA950.kext rm -Rf AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext rm -Rf AppleHDA.kext cp -R ~/Desktop/backup/* ./ 4. Delete SleepEnabler.kext On my installation the "Extra" folder was hidden, so with ShowHiddenFiles.app you need to show it. ShowHiddenFiles.zip Delete SleepEnabler.kext from /Extra/Extensions*. *(If you don't find SleepEnabler.kext on /Extra/Extensions search it on /Sistema/Libreria/Extensions) What you need to do if you forget to delete SleepEnabler.kext 5. Restore USB kext We put "backups" folder on S/L/E (/System/Library/Extensions) folder so copy IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext and paste it on /S/L/E. If you not have a backup there is mine: USB Fix 10.6.8.zip Repair permissions with KextUtility. 6. Edit kernel on boot.plist On my Extra folder i don't have any org.chameleon.boot.plist, so i edit com.apple.boot.plist on /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration. Copy the file and past it on Desktop, then open it with TextEdit.app, changing: <key>Kernel</key> <string>custom</string> to <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel_atom</string> PAY ATTENTION about you write. For a wrong word the system doesn't boot Check that the value <key>USBBusFix</key> <string>Yes</string> is in the file. Now save and copy com.apple.boot.plist in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration replacing the older. [if you want you can copy it also on /Extra] If you want: You can create org.chameleon.boot.plist copying the text of com.apple.boot.plist and you can create the smbios.plist file with Chameleon Wizard to put it on /Extra. 6. Now you can reboot. First boot after Update to 10.6.8 Now we not have any VGA driver, so: 1. from the backup folder restore the AppleHDA.kext on /System/Library/Extensions. 2. unzip the VGA drivers: 3438-GMA950 for 10.zip and put all files on /S/L/E/. 3. Repair the permissions with KextUtility.app 4. Reboot. Wireless 1. From SLE copy IONetworkingFamily.kext and past it on Desktop. 2. Now put it on /Extra/Extensions. (Don't skip the copy on Desktop or you can have permissions problem) 3. Unzip the driver Broadcom Broadcom43XXFamily.kext.zip and put it on /Extra/Extensions 4. Repair permissions 5. Reboot Issues Trackpad: After the repair of USB and reboot the trackpad doesn't works, so i fixed it with this pkg VoodooPS2Controller.pkg.zip USB recognized by System Information but not mounted: You need to restore IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext (at the end of topic) and IOUSBFamily.kext, both of kext. At the time all seems works! Credits A special thanks to carbo178, which helped me to solve all the problems after installation and without whom I would have (most likely) trashed my netbook Files Chameleon 2.0 RC4.zip ShowHiddenFiles.zip USB Fix 10.6.8.zip Kernel Atom qui (Original post qui) 3438-GMA950 for 10.zip Broadcom43XXFamily.kext.zip VoodooPS2Controller.pkg.zip
9. Hi, I tried to install iATKOS S3 V2 on my old Acer Extensa 4620 (not 4620z). The installation worked (though I had to remove the battery), and i could not boot into the OS. So i tried -v -x, and it worked, and I could set it up. But the verbose mode showed a lot of errors about something like AppleUSBUHCI.kext not loading or something. The main issue is that my trackpad isnt working, usb mouse not working, wireless mouse also tried, not working. But the keyboard is working.! Any suggestions on how to get back my mouse(stuck on top left of screen)?? (Last resort, I can install it again, if someone tells me what drivers to enable, because the last install worked on some random selection of drivers) Thanks in advance ---------------------------------- SYSTEM SPECS (if required) [ If any more required, ask) ---------------------------------- Model : Acer Extensa 4620 Processer: Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz RAM : 3 GB DDR2 Graphics / Display : Mobile intel 965 express chipset family (I also see X3100 somewhere) BIOS : (Dont know for sure) Phoenix v1.00PARTTBL HDD : 160GB ?? In dxdiag, I found PS/2 devices connected :: HID Keyboard Device Standard PS/2 Keyboard PS/2 Compatible Mouse HID Compliant mouse. And also, my mouse and keyboard both worked DURING the install, but not after it ???? Edit: Reinstalling with the proper drivers might be better, if somebody provides me with a list of drivers
11. I've just installed iATKOS L2 onto my laptop: Toshiba Qosmio X300-01U (model: pqx32c-01u019) CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 @ 2GHZ Memory: 4GB DDR2 Ram HDD: 320GB SATA HDD Graphics: nVidia Geforce 9700M GTS 512MB VRAM (1440x900x24-bit) Network: Wireless: Intel WiFi Link 5100, Ether: RealTek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Sound: RealTek ALC272-GR Sound OR Intel High Definition Audio Chipset: Intel 45 Express Chipset On install i set it to use Sound: Voodoo (i checked on the entire category). After the install everything appears fine including sound HOWEVER the laptop's internal MIC is on. There is an annoying feedback loop going on and the sensitivity by the MIC is acute. How do i completely disable the MIC within OSX Lion / iATKOS? Under System Pref >> Sound >> Input there is a single Sound Input Device (Microphone ATAPI). There is no way to disable it. The input Volume is set all the way to the LEFT however i can still here the background noise of the MIC coming from the internal speakers. I just want to disable MIC altogether. Thanks
12. Olá, Instalei hoje no meu notebook Itautec W7415 o hackintosh iAtkos Snow Leopard.
13. Hello, I am trying to install iAtkos S3 V2 On my Asus 1015PE Netbook. I read this forum : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/239489-asus-1015pe-any-success-in-hackintoshing-it/ But N00b_un_2's post wasn't in much detail, and i don't have any other macs. Is there a way to do this without a mac and with a USB Thumb Drive?
14. I previously used iAtkos ML2 to install Mac OS X (Mountain Lion) on my computer, and when booting iAtkos from USB I used the boot flag -s for it to work. Everything was working perfectly, though to boot Mac I had to insert a USB with iAtkos installed on it and boot from there. I tried to fix this by installing bootloaders.(I also had Windows 7 on another partition which would boot if the USB wasn't inserted) Then Mac wouldn't boot even with the USB inserted. So, I formatted the Mac partition and tried to boot the iAtkos installer again, though when I booted with the boot flag -s, after typing exit when prompted it would get stuck at "logout". If I do not use the boot flag -s it gets stuck at the apple logo (previously it had a cancel logo on the apple logo, though now it doesn't stop loading). My computer model and specs: HP Compaq 8510w Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.20Ghz Nvidia Quadro FX 570M 2GB RAM 64-bit Processor Wi-Fi Adapter - Intel Wireless Wi-Fi Link 4965agn

iAtkos M Problem with Chameleon

I'm a little bit in stuck with the Chameleon Bootloader on iAtkos M. I wrote the .dmg file on my USB 2.0 8GB stick with Transmac. First i couldnt't start the Installer (Security settings didn't allow it), but then i changed the the BIOS mode from UEFI to Legacy. Then I had to select the Bootloader I selected the Chameleon Bootloader because the other one didn't work (it stucks at the black screen). When I have to press any button or F8 the Bootloader Stucks and nothing happens. Have a good day Please answer Best regards arminius850
18. Hello guys, I have installed the iAtkos ML2 tomorrow. The problem is that I can only boot with the commands ''-v -x PCIRootUid=0 GraphicsEnabler=no'', if I don't use this commands, I get stuck in the white apple logo forever. I think this is a problem with the kexts, so, I am sending my config for you, Motherboard - Gigabyte B75M-D3H\ VGA - NVidia GTX 660 Ti Power Edition 2GB Processor - Intel i5 3470 - 3.2GHz HD - HDD SATA - 1tb (partitioned, so I am using 500GB for MAC and 500GB for Windows) Thanks!

Hi everyone! I´m desperate to get a working osx on my Acre Iconia w700 "laptop". I do not know anyone who owns a mac computer and my computer does not support virtualization so my only alternative is to use iatkos as far as i know. I have tried several guides ( the one on the official iatkos webpage as well as http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/288795-guide-creating-os-x-usb-installer-using-a-windows-pc-only/ from theese forums) i have tried both ml3u and ml2, i have gotten neither to work. The tablet does not have an optical drive so i have to use an usb. I have an usb hub so i can connect 4 usbs even though it only supports 1 usb natively. Using the official iatkos guide i get to the cclover boot menu from which i can try to boot but it doesnt get to the installation procerss but gets stuck at "loading drivers................................" and that only if i use -v -x slider=0 as boot flags. i have tried very many flags. -v -x -f -s slide=0 cpus=1 withkexts graphicsenabler=yes/no ncip=0x3000 / 2000 and others Using the one found on theese forums it gets also to the clover screen but from there i dont even get text, just a black screen. ( the guide says not to change flags but i checked, it has verbose mode on already :/ ) does anyone have any experience with this particular computer or does anyone have any tips? i am completely out of ideas. Its got HD 3000 and i3 2365 and "motherboard chipset Intel HM77 " i have seen videos online of it running osx so i know this must be possible! Thanks you for your time!
