1. Hello everyone, I've been trying to install sierra in my new external HD and I'm stuck with this screen. I read here a guy change from -v to -x and worked, so I did it and I got the apple. Before changing it I was stuck with the same result but without the apple. Thanks in advance!
2. I am trying to boot for the first time off my HDD, but it hangs here. At first my installer did this too, but fixing my config.plst fixed it. -x and nv_disable make no difference. The one thing I have not tried is using my iGPU, but I rather not have to use it. I know I don't need to, because if I use tonymac, it works fine. My specs are: (Dell Inspiron 3647) i3 4170 @ 3.7 GHz EVGA GT 1030 8 GB ram
3. System: Alienware 15 R1 (Early 2015) + Clover r4061 CPU: i7-4710HQ / HM87 Graphics: GTX 970M (Optimus) / Intel HD 4600 Without boot CPUS=1, I will stuck at login screen (after enter password). There is one time I successful booted in, however the GUI is buggy and animated laggy. What I've done: -Patching LAPTOP DSDT/SSDTs (aisle, MaciASL) -Native Power Management for Laptops ( ssdtPRGen.sh ) -Lapic Kernel Enabled The only thing I haven't try is VoodooTSCSync.kext, however from what I've studied from hackintosh forum, it is not suitable to install this for laptop. I've no idea where is the problem/mistake right now. Can somebody please enlighten me? Thanks. Note: I promise you, I never ever edit config.plist with textEditor, I only edit with PlistEdit Pro. Also, I will only edit DSDT/SSDTs in format .asl with MaciASL.
4. I installed OS X El Capitan on my pc and it used to work, but today when i wake up it stopped working and it displayed the following message Specs: ASROCK G41M-vs3 r.2 Intel Pentium E5700 Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 5670

I attached the Clover folder from the EFI partition as a zip. I generated a DSDT and edited the CPU section to prevent a KP (should have 8 threads but only found 7 on Die 0), both the original and the edited DSDTs are included in the zip. Now my problem: Every time when I try to boot the installer I get stuck at the same point (shown in the picture): I presume its something regarding USB, because in the DSDT is nothing to find regarding USB. Could it be possible that the installer cant mount the dmg file, because it cant access the drive due to the missing USB devices in the DSDT ? I hope someone can help me with this problem Greetings from Germany and thanks in advance Adrian
7. Hey guys, I'm new to this ans this is my first post... I have never had to post anything before, I always found the solution myself. But this time, I seriously need some help. My cousin has a Macbook Pro 2015 running El Capitan on it. So we were following step by step every single thing we saw in this youtube video : We got to the point where we had to boot from the USB. Everything was working perfectly. I had the apple logo, progress bar was going smoothly until it filled completely. And then I waited... And waited... And waited... nothing. Decided to try verbose mode. Got this : "com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (org.ntp.sntp.117) 《Warning》: Service exited with abnormal code: 255" So... started doing what I do best.. Googling! I found SO MANY THINGS. Tried moving my kexts, tried putting some stuff in the boot args, so many things... now I'm just lost. It's an intel i5 processor, 8GB RAM, intel HD graphics, so basically all intel... Should work, no?
8. I'm trying to install yosemite using Clover and the Rampage GUIDE but I'm stuck on the OSX installer screen, I've tried several boot flags so far. Using -v cpu=1 I experienced a mem map issue. Using the default boot flag in verbose mode -v ncpi=0x2000 kext-dev-mode=1 nv_disable=1 along with CSM disabled I could reach OSX Installer screen but gets stuck there. https://flic.kr/s/aHskxmbG57 Any clue or advice? System config; Asus x99 Deluxe USB 3.1 Xeon 1650v3 Corsair H80iGT G.Skill Ripjaws V 2133Mhz C15D 32GVR (2x16GB) Sandisk Extreme Pro 480GB (OSX) WD Caviar Black 1TB (Win 8.1 Pro) Asus GTX 780 Strix 6GB Cooler Master GX 750 Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced
9. I have finally purchased my components for my new audio production rig: Mobo: Asus x99 Deluxe - I have just updated the bios to latest version - 1601 CPU: 5960x Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16 Gb 4x4Gb 2666 Mhz PSU: Corsair Ax1200i Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D CPU cooler: Fractal Design S36 SSD Samsung 850 EVO 250 Gb Graphics: either an old Nvidia 9600 Gt or an even older 8600 Gt - they work perfectly on my x58a build in Mountain Lion and Yosemite. Installed windows on the ssd drive just to make sure that everything works fine. I had an older clean Hdd with a beasted Yosemite install on it - inserted it, used all the flags that I have found around with no succes - stuck on the PCI ROOT error. Created several Yosemite USB stick installers, using Rampage Dev Method. In bios, when I disable CSM, I got a warning and when I try to boot I get this error, with both Nvidia 8600 GTS and 9600 GT in slot pci 1 (even though they both work on my x58a build): "The Vga card is not supported by UEFI driver" CSM have been changed for better compatibility. - it re-enables itself at the next reboot. The "Other Os" remains selected, though. - see Pic 1 If i continue with booting from the usb stick, I got the graphics from pic2 & pic3. Pressing enter or spacebar on any of the verbose or boot without cache variants give me the "Error loading kernel cache error. Boot Failed sleeping for 10 seconds before exiting" error, as seen in pic 4. Trying to boot from the ##### Yosemite installation done on my x58a rig just hangs at the apple logo. Please help, I can't figure out what should I do next. Thank you so much for your time!
10. Hey guys. I've been having some trouble getting clover to boot the El Capitan installer from my USB. Now despite the views of TonyMac on this forum, I'll just disclose that I was following this guide written by him to get myself going. http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-desktop-guides/172672-#####-install-os-x-el-capitan-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html If someone has a better or preferred set of instructions, please do send them my way. Basically, when I attempt to boot the installer, the picture attached shows the results. Not too sure about the boot flags I should be using with clover, but I'll attach my specs to hopefully help you help me. CPU: Intel i5-4690k MoBo: MSI H97 Gaming 3 GPU: MSI R9 390x HDD: Sandisk 128GB SSD Thanks much. P.S Trying to boot with -x just adds Safe Boot Enabled to the bottom of the pictured results. Still the hangup, though.
11. Stuck when installing Yosemite on a brand new laptop I've used all kind of flags (nv_disable=1, GraphicsEnabler=0, -x, -f) and I keep not being able to install it. I get stuck at this installation point: Even using -v i get those two images: and then: Any ideas on what's going on?
12. Stuck at 0 seconds remaining. Taking an awful long time to restart (30 minutes and counting) and mouse seems to be frozen. After a hard boot I would have to start the installer again. Currently trying to install on my Evo 120gb ssd Will post up installer log if it doesn't work this time around. Any suggestions? 13. Hi, I decided to install Hazard Snow Leopard and the install completed normally. After restart the boot hangs at the Apple logo. I'm a noob when it comes to Hackintosh so I'm not sure why this is happening but I think it has something to do with ACPI When I boot in verbose, the last few lines read. 18. Hello everyone! I'm trying to install Mavericks on my HP ENVY 17-1050ep laptop and I've got some problems with it. If you're too lazy to follow link, here some specs: CPU: Intel Core i7-720QM RAM: 8GB DDR3 (if it matters) Video: ATI Mobility Radeon 5850 Graphics So, I've tried to boot and got freeze. Okay google: installation hackintosh stucks. Answer: Use -v. Okay, once again with -v: Stucks on [IOBluetoothHCIController][start] -- completed Okay google: wtf. Answer: Use GraphicsEnabler=No, -x, cpus=1 (it was before it, forgot to describe). Whatever, it doesn't change anything. Oh, no, it does. With GE=No option i've got black screen and freeze again. So, with GE=No I've no any graphics(haha) and stuck, and without it - just stuck after loading bluetooth driver(or what is it, dunno). Also google told me try to disable discrete video in BIOS, but I'm not sure if it is possible on this laptop. There is just couple options in BIOS(or UEFI) and all of them is about boot options and so on. There is no possibility to disable discrete video, and I'm not sure that I have integrated. Anyway, here is lspci output: What should I do? Please - help. Sorry for bad english, and thanks in advance. Peace!

21. So the topic says it all. When i try to create a user after installation after 30-50 seconds everything freezes and i have to reboot my computer. My hardware: Motherboard: Gigabyte 970a-UD3 (am3+ socket) Cpu: AmdFX 8350 GPU: Geforce Gtx 670 (MSI) I had it running yesterday but something terrible happened after an appstore update (think Xcode was the thing updated.) After that the system just restarted after every boot. Could not get in the boot loader or anything so i wiped the disc and re installed and now i'm stuck. I've been tortured with this since this morning and now i'm starting to get tired of failing. Would greatly appreciate any help! please take in consideration that i'm new to this so please explain in detail, after seeing some threads on other forums with the same problem but no fix this thread could be their aid in the future. 22. Hello all! I know this has been asked a lot of times in different forums, and it really feels wrong to post about it again, but I tried every solution I could find to no use. First, my relevant hardware specs: MOBO: ASUS Gryphon Z87 CPU: Haswell i5-4670k Graphics: Intel HD 4600 (Integrated CPU) Some history Where do I start? Let me see, I installed OS X 10.9.2 using myHack, the installation was smooth and fast, after installation I saw that booting from disk was not working, the system would just boot into UEFI GUI, so I used the chameleon boot loader already loaded in the pen drive I used for the initial installation. The system has some problems booting without some tweaking (as usual with Intel HD Graphics 4600). The systems almost always get stuck in the Bluetooth Controller line, I read that when this happens is because the OS cannot load the Graphics driver. It is also worth noting that I'm using an HDMI cable from my PC to a VIZIO LED-TV. What I tried? Booting arguments -v Most important argument -x System boots without problem GraphicsEnabler=No IntelAzulFB=0-15 Not a single one works consistently, sometimes a number works (3, 6 or 9) but when they do, they boot into safe mode without even using the -x flag, so the system 'works', it detects the HD 4600 but only with 7mb of VRAM System definitions iMac 14.2 MacMini 6.1 causes kernel panic in numbers 10 and 13 What I have configured in my UEFI settings? Secure both: Other OS (disabled in other words) Primary display: iGPU iGPU Memory: 64MB VT-d: Disabled What now? I'll try to use all the IntelAzulFB numbers again, using a new system definition. I hope you can help me find a solution. Maybe the IntelAppleFrambufferAzul.kext is corrupted or something? I don't know. Best regards. Missing Bluetooth Error

Hi guys! I seem to have encountered a problem with Chimera after updating Mavericks to 10.9.4. It gets stuck on Missing Bluetooth Controller (also shows "DSMOS has arrived" before that, so I think it's some sort of graphics problem). However, I can still boot into safe mode, but when I ran kextstat in terminal, the AppleIntelHDGraphics4000.kext hasn't loaded. Only Capri has. However, when I used Clover using UEFI boot, the problem fixes itself. However, I have an MBR partition (since I already have Windows 7 installed) so I cannot create an EFI sector for Clover. Instead, I currently use my USB to use the Clover boot loader. Is there a way to fix Chimera? Thanks guys. I am using Intel HD Graphics 4000 as my default graphics, with iGPU set as default with 32 MB in the UEFI.
24. Hello everyone, I have a GTX750 1GB GDDR5 card. After I installed my 10.9.3 hackintosh, it does not recognise my graphics card. So I installed the Nvidia alternate graphics drivers for OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 and changed the required kernel flag correctly. After that I restarted the computer and booted with -v, however it got stuck at "NVDAStartup: Web". Would be really grateful if you could suggest something to try fixing it?

iAtkos M Problem with Chameleon

I'm a little bit in stuck with the Chameleon Bootloader on iAtkos M. I wrote the .dmg file on my USB 2.0 8GB stick with Transmac. First i couldnt't start the Installer (Security settings didn't allow it), but then i changed the the BIOS mode from UEFI to Legacy. Then I had to select the Bootloader I selected the Chameleon Bootloader because the other one didn't work (it stucks at the black screen). When I have to press any button or F8 the Bootloader Stucks and nothing happens. Have a good day Please answer Best regards arminius850
