eyemac Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 Used latest Kiko update to 10.4.8 (final) from 10.4.5. Have both ECS and MSI 945G MB and Pentium 4 and Pentium D. Update showed errors but afterwards, indicated system was 10.4.8 and I could now install Aperture (requires 10.4.8 and would NOT previously install on my 10.4.5 system). However, Filesharing over the LAN would not work on either updated machine!!! Reinstalled 10.4.5 and all works fine again. I would like to upgrade to the newer GMA950 drivers since Forum threads indicate better performance and cure of display of text color issues with my current driver. Any help would be appreciated.
