rippz
App Store is showing me "Thunderbolt Firmware-Update 1.0" as an update. Obviously I should not install the update since it's a hackintosh. But when I can't install the update how to I get rid of the message?

Maniac10
Right click the update description -> ignore (or something similar)
alexanderq
Are you using Clover?
rippz
1. I have no thunderbolt. But the update is clearly stating firmware. So it makes no sense or is even harmful on an hackintosh. 2. Yes I am using clover. I will try using ignoring as a last resort. First I want to find out why this update is showing up.
Maniac10
Because you're using a mac model that includes a thunderbolt port and has a fake firmware revision that is older than the one the AppStore is offering you. Don't bother, just ignore it.
rippz
Okay I even tried to change the smc version in clover to avoid the update showing up in the past. Nice to know that ignoring is so easy. Thank you.
