sazan123
Hello! I need help. In Windows 10 1809, the output from sleep on does not work. The PC starts up, but the screen remains black. The problem is reproduced only on Windows 10 1809. On other OS there is no problem. I think the problem is in the BIOS of the board. Is it possible to solve problems with the help of UEFI patching Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285444-uefipatch-uefi-patching-utility/page/80/#findComment-2665681 Share on other sites

chriz74
I tried the latesf uefipatch on an hp g400 i3 desktop bios. It doesn’t find anything to patch. I checked the msr register at bit 15 and it’s set to 1. Bios doesn’t have a cfg lock / unlock option. So is it possibile to unlock this bios ? psedog
Question, after patching Z390 Aorus Bios update file. I get Invalid Bios File in QFlash (in Bios). I used release 0.26.0 to patch my file (in OSX). This was the result. parseFile: non-empty pad-file contents will be destroyed after volume modifications patch: replaced 8 bytes at offset 4F84h 81E10080000033C1 -> 9090909090909090 Image patched Since the patch made 2 more edits than just the 8 byte replacement. I made the single 8 byte change with Hex Fiend. I saved a copy and then compared again. Only that offset was changed. It still failed in QFlash. What's the best way forward for patching my Bios? gsxb
How does this app work with .cap files on a Mac . I’m trying to patch ASUS H110 plus bios and so far no joy any help would be greatly appreciated UPDATE : I’ve used the app on my Windows home server and dragged n dropped my bios file on to the patcher and it produced a file with the .patched file extension. Does that means it’s worked and my bios file is patched for Apple power management ? fspkwonx86
Well my E6420 Survived a Laptop FIRE! it boots in the same condition as before the re-assembly "CDROM Port Unusuable and will not boot with it in" - but as i said instead of just changing my BIOS logo i would also use this UEFI Patch tool to verify that it works with this model .... so my Second Chance has been thrown back to me at sheer random of it still working... So its pretty much all customized to Dell but ill see what the patch does and take the risk and flash it back to 1-down/3-laptops Edited August 7, 2025 by fspkwonx86 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285444-uefipatch-uefi-patching-utility/page/80/#findComment-2838631 Share on other sites
