HP Pavilion dv9335nr ipc 10.5.6 intel 3495abg wireless not functioning

Hi there,

i havent been on this site since arround late 2010 i believe when i had an HP dv6605us and i got it functioning with leoforall v1.4 thanks to a lot of help from users of this forum.

Sadly I am in need of assistance again. I recently resurrected a HP pavilion dv9335nr from the dead, it had (allong with almost all the DV series) an over heating problem due to the bad boards and dezign hp used for the heat sink. I re-set the solder on the video chip and got it up and running again.

NOW... My install media was a DVD containing the distro iPC 10.5.6 Final. I chose this distro because I had previously tried to install 10.5.6 on my asus eee pc 900 (i know 900mhz is a joke) with no luck (install would go flawlessly then the screen after boot would look like a bar code, still trying to find a distro that will work.) and it was the only distro I had from arround 2010 still accessable on my old intel P4 machine.

The following is what I selected for my install with some success the seccond go: >>>>

(as the drop down menu progresses the > will match)

>iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Base system Selected

The system boots, there is sound, the picture is great, no lag, the programs open and function and the DVD/CD drive works. I have noticed the laptop runs hotter and the cores of the centrino duo seem to be a little over worked, which is a cncern on a pc that has heat issues. mouse works, except for the pressure sensitive function of the touch pad which is disapointing.

What doesnt work which is frustrating is the wifi which I am 100% positive is an intel 3495abg pro card and I am just as positive that I picked that kext to install and no pressure sensitivity on the touchpad. The previous HP I worked on, as I stated before was a dv6605us and it had a Broadcom card in it. Could it be possible that the bus (mini PCI ) is intel architecture and the card is the same broadcom card as in the other pc?

As for functionality I have not checked yet, I have not checked the USB, functionality nor the HDMI, VGA, SD card reader LAN or mini 1394 (mini fire wire)

If you have a solution to my problem or know someone who might I would greatly appreciate the help.

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone. I installed MacOS High Sierra on my computer 3 months ago, in January. After a long way to get the computer fully working now I'm facing a new problem: imagine I'm working or doing something in my computer and it suddenly freezes and I have to restart it.  There's no reason why the computer restarts by itself...
Here I also attach my Clover EFI folder in case you need it (it doesn't allow me to attach it so here i give you the link: https://mega.nz/#!92xCiLDZ!WY1F55ZvuP-9WW369EP9KY-3hNLt5sWUgJDxPrbgpPM .
      Thank you in advance.

Hi guys, i'm trying to help a friend of mine trying to install osx(possibly high sierra) on his pc with the following specs:
      Amd fx8350
      Asrock 990fx extreme 3
      8gb of fury Kingston ddr3 ram(2x4)
      Radeon hd 7950
      128gb ssd( crucial m550)
A couple of hdds I don't remember the brand(maybe a seagate barracuda and a dumb old disk for data)
We tried to install it using the regular clover+high showers installer but we couldn't get it to reach the installer, then we tried osx-amd(don't know if i can talk about it there, sorry if i can't) and we still couldn't get to the installer.
Is there a guide i can use to install osx in that machin, i tried to search in the forum but i couldn't find it.

I have a fully working HP-6460b with 10.13.1. For safety sake I made a clone drive for the 10.13.3. I could not update to 13.3, because it was always rebooted !!! The EFI is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d34g3a8uxjrb1n2/EFI_13.1.zip?dl=0 the other problem is with this EFI,  I could not update the clover, because it caused reboot requences again !
So, I made a new EFI,  https://www.dropbox.com/s/viruxewplu2qbck/EFI_13-3.zip?dl=0  which was able to update to 13.3 without rebooting problem.  BUT !   In the 13.3 updated system my WIFI (BCM913224 HMS) is not working (hardware not found...) I tried to fix it dring a week but I could not fix it and not found any solution.     I think 13.3 may need a new patch for my WIFI card...  I am going to crazy, PLEASE help me if there is any solution. I think for the EFI problem there is a sure solution, so please also help me to understand which EFI should be proper for me.    Otherwise almost everything is working: audio, sleep, eSata, USB 2 (USB3 not, but I think this model can not use USB3), WEBCAM, card reader (if firewire is not allowed in BIOS) , firewire (if card reader is not allowed in BIOS) ....     Not working/not tried : WWAN (Ericson F5521) - I don't know how to install....    My detailed specification: HP-6460b / CPU: i7 2760 QM (2.4 Ghz,4/8 core,6M cache,45W) RAM 8GB, screen: 1366x768, webcam, 256 SSD + 1TB HD (in DVD slot) WIFI: BCM913224 HMS WWAN: Ericson F5521    I think many other may problem with bcm943224hms with 10.13.3 ! I can not change the WIFI card, because of this model whitelist problem !
